Stopped in on our way home in search of a good steak. Unfortunately, we did not realize that the steak we saw online was a Valentine's day special and no longer available the following night. So we opted for a cheese & charcuterie appetizer, steak frites, and pork tenderloin for our mains. The cheese selection was very nice accompanied by out-of-this-world garlic jam. There was a $5 additional charge to add the charcuterie - a helping of speck. We would have appreciated even a $10 add-on with more salumi variations. The frites & tenderloin while very good, were not exciting in flavor profile. The Burnt Old Fashioned was excellent as was an interesting red varietal (never had it and the name escapes me). Portions were great as well as the staff & surroundings. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The experience at District Kitchen & Bar was fantastic! The service was some of the best I've ever had, and everyone was really nice. Caitlin, Lindsey, Tracy, and Bobby were awesome servers and made us feel very welcome. The food was also delicious, although the duck confit poutine was slightly too salty, although it was alright since my personal preference leans salty anyways. They make everything fresh and the flavor combinations were excellent. They had a great menu. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! The cocktails were great! Cute cozy modern little bar. Highly recommend the fried burrata, the steak frites (holy cow that garlic butter) and the flourless chocolate cake!
