Total dive bar! At least two fights while we were there. Pretty sure someone peed on the floor while sitting at the bar. The cops showed up as a result of earlier fights. Bartender was drunk and took a while to serve us. He went out to smoke before grabbing our drinks. We only stopped in on our way home from Tama.

The Federal Pub is the place to go if you're in Hudson. Everyone is so friendly!

Great small town bar! Once you go here, you're likely to be greeted by name going forward. Generous pours and always a good conversation to be had!

The owner looks like Eugene Tackleberry from Police Academy, but his name is Bill. He doesn't appreciate being called "Tackleberry".

Best bar ever. Great service, staff that make you feel at home. Regulars embrace new faces make them feel at home. Sports always on a TV. Priced fair. Can not say enough about this Pub. Darts, pool, music, dancing, and great memories.

To noisy, they need to put up the sound panels.
All bar maids and bar tenders go uot to smoke, no service.

Perfect small town "dive bar" where everyone is super friendly whether you want to have a quiet night cap on the way home or if you feel like chatting up everyone in the place. We're not there often enough to be what I would call "regulars" yet each visit almost feels like we are.
If they had a wee bit of a "bar food" menu is give them 6 stars.
