Wanda in the cake Department makes AMAZING CAKES! She made my 21st birthday cakes and she just made my Brother’s 22nd birthday cake! She’s so good at what she does and we will DEFINITELY be back!! <3
Loved the huge selection here. Salad, sushi, Asian bar & soup self serve stations for quick meals. Deli section, fresh ordered pizza, butcher, seafood and bakery sections. Endless. Staff was really nice. Just enjoyed a little bit of everything here and got everything I needed without making multiple stops somewhere else. Nice clean shop, love it here!
This location stinks. Literally. The moment you enter, you can smell the meat and seafood department. The greeter at the door, who's both friendly and helpful, must be nose blind because it is gross.
Produce here is not always fresh but is almost always overpriced. You need to be an educated shopper in general at this store, if you don't want to over pay for groceries.
I have always had a pleasant experience shopping at Harris Teeter with the exception of last night. My daughter went to purchase a birthday cake. The lady behind the counter was assisting someone so was the gentleman. We waited patiently for about 20 minutes or longer. Another couple walked up to get assistnce. So the lady behind the counter came to me and said I will be with you in a minute. Mind you i had been standing there for awhile. The couple told her to wait on us since we had been standing there when they walked up. She came over to help with a scour on her face and attitude I guess she had an issue with waiting on me. So sad!!!!

This is a review for the deli - only the Chesapeake store. The deli cutters are the worst I have ever come across! Multiple times awful deli cutters - you name it - wrong type of meat, not cut right. Awful! I've given up there!
This Harris Teeter is very close to the Greenbrier mall in Chesspeake. It’s located on Greenbrier Parkway and Volvo Parkway. Marlena makes the best pizzas! I enjoy their soups near the salad bar as well. Allen is the most helpful manager. Karen is most kind at self checkout. If you’re headed to the customer service desk Lisa will help you there. It’s the only location that has 3 little tables and chairs in case you want to enjoy your soup or salad right inside the store.
Greenbrier Market center on greenbrier parkway Harris Teeter store is situated where we buy fruit,vegetables, meats, pizza and grocery especially when they are on sale. Save money. Products are fresh and organic . We get filled our prescriptions here staff in pharmacy is very nice. Store assistant manager Stacy is always helpful she is very nice and professional.
Do yourself a favor and try their sushi! Sushi and the Asian bar are excellent. If you want fresh meal and convenience, this is definitely a go-to place for sushi and Asian food in Chesapeake. Highly recommended.
I visited once for a few items so my review is limited to that experience. The store is well lit, clean, and has a good layout. There is a deli, a hot food area, a salad bar, a meat an cheese section, a butcher, and a seafood counter.
I noticed the prices are higher than many places in the area. Also, there were only two checkout lanes open, so the lines were long. The self checkout was open and was easy for a few items, but I would not want to use the small checkout counter for a full grocery purchase.
I did not interact with employees, so I cannot discuss customer service.
I've been shopping here on and off for years. I'm going with 4 stars because of their consistency. The store is usually clean when I go in, I've even seen an employee wiping off carts one day with disinfectant. The consistency issues come from produce quality and/or the ability to find an employee for help. Sometimes it's fantastic fresh and great customer service. Other times you have to hunt for people and there is rotting/over ripe produce. This of course all depends on who is working but it's been enough of an issue over the years that I have to take a star off.
