Without a doubt the absolute place to be if you want some great food prepared and served by amazing people! I’ve been a few times now and even when they’re busy the wait for an order has never been long enough to cause an issue. An amazing atmosphere inside the restaurant and out on the patio, you can sit back, relax and sip on a margarita that is by far more superior to any other contender that I’ve come across. Do yourself a favor and stop in sometime. Enjoy some on the house tortilla chips with salsa while you sip that ever so amazing margarita and enjoy that entree that comes out fresh, hot and jam packed with more flavor than you could have ever expected! These guys have been doing such an amazing job! It has been an absolute pleasure to say the very least to not only give them my business but to share them with everyone I can that’s looking for another amazing place to spend some of that hard earned money of theirs! Can’t thank them enough for being who they are and doing what they do❤️🧑🏿🍳🤌🏿💋

Carnitas Taco
Uhh... So all chicken dishes EXCEPT for the chicken fajita (apparently) come UNSEASONED. I'm talkin' bleached-flour-white chicken meat, NOTHING ON IT -AND THIS IS "USUAL". Probably the most disappointing chicken taco I've ever put in my mouth, holy God. I get that Maine is WHITE, but I didn't know y'all were THAT white!!! 😭
The nacho plate with beef came with SEASONED BEEF, and it was a huge portion, couldn't even finish it, so that was your saving grace, Pepinos.

Wife and I stopped in for lunch today Food was some of the most unseasoned food I've ever eaten in my life. We each got a combo plate with chicken enchiladas, chorizo burrito and chorizo tacos. The chorizo taste like unseasoned and over oiled ground beef, the chicken tasted boiled and like it had not ever seen a flake of salt or pepper. The food took also about half an hour to get to our table even though we were one of 4 tables. Lady at the counter was at least nice but probably won't return.

Pork Tacos and a Lime Strawberry Virgin Margarita
My family hv ate there 2 yrs ago it was delicious 😋! New cooks!? Rice tasted like pure taco season gross! Salad was nasty 😒 spice was 100 outta 10 too much! Pls warn ppl b4 burning there mouths!!! Omg!

I always go back to Pepinos for the same thing. Chicken Fiesta salad with extra dressing and extra chicken. It really is a "party" in your mouth with the added bonus of the crunchy fried tortilla on the bottom. The first time I tried Pepinos was when my coworkers were ordering lunch one day in 2022, and we all ordered Chicken Fiesta Salads (at their recommendation). Since falling in love with it, I've eaten it many times but only via takeout. My aunt brought my boyfriend and I to the Bangor location for dinner this past summer, so I got to try their housemade salsa and chips. And they turned out to be some of the best I've ever had. Someday, maybe I'll try ordering other items on the menu but until then, I will continue to order the simple but simply delicious, Chicken Fiesta Salad.

Chicken Quesadilla
I grew up in Brewer Maine and started going here over 30 years ago! They were the first Mexican restaurant in Northern Maine!! All the food is made with the freshest ingredients even the tortilla chips are made hot & fresh! Their signature sauces are The Best and I live in Northern Virginia now & get them delivered to my house!! Love the nachos! The Bean Dip is Awesome! Their guacamole is delicious and so fresh! Tacos are great especially the fish tacos! Love the Burrito el grande! Chili is so thick and delicious! Save room for dessert at this Mexican restaurant because they have THE MARGARITA PIE THAT IS PHENOMENAL!! I dream about it!!
It was our first time here! The food was life changing, the service was impeccable, and out experience was excellent. We can't wait to go back!!
