Small jazz club. I was here on a Tuesday night and there was a constant flow in and out of people. There was a 7 piece band playing lots of funky jazz numbers. Limited spots to sit but as people come and go, you can get a table. Small outdoor patio. Slightly away from the bussle of Bourbon St. Crowd was 30 to 60 years old so mostly people looking for good music and drinks. If you want the 20's party time, head to bourbon st. If you want a laid back atmosphere, head here. There are a few other similar clubs in the area with similar atmosphere.

Love just coming into this place, getting a drink and listening to great music. Not as small as some venues in NOLA, but not so large as to be just a massive party house. Good times.

Cool hip jazz rock club. If you're in New Orleans, check out some love bands and this place is a great one to visit.

This is a great spot to stop for a couple of beers and some oysters! Live music, a 0.75/oyster and $5/drink happy hour, and the service was pretty quick for how busy it was.
If you're going for the happy hour, definitely suggest you get there early. It was pretty packed by 5:45!

We visited for drinks and live music on a Thursday evening. The band was pretty good, and definitely worked to engage the audience. Not much of a crowd throughout the hour or so we were there, but it did begin to fill up. The first table we went to sit at had not been cleaned (pieces of food all over it), but we found a different one that was clean.
