After a long walk around Boardman River Boardwalk, go to this bar and have a rest here. Come here and order tasty turkey burgers, sweet fries and fried chicken sandwiches. Good Brezeln, biscuits and ice cream have a pleasant taste. This place is known for delicious draft beer, cider or craft beer. Children can choose dishes from the kids' menu. Most users mention that the staff is patient. 7 Monks Taproom is remarkable for its enjoyable service. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are low. Food was good. Euro sandwich was good. Tomato bisque was not up to par. Good selection of beers on tap. Staff was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was nice but dang is there a discount for bringing kids?!? Seriously there were lots of families with small children. I love kids but unexpected to see at a bar. I would go back for the beer. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

7 Monks has a very large selection of mainly beer and cider. The Caramel Apple Cider was delicious! They do offer wine and mixed beverages. Some food as well. Very friendly!!

We do enjoy 7-monks, better burger in town! Cold beer, but $8.50 for a plate of popcorn seems steep. We will be back. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had hands down!!!! Although I don't drink beer, the food here was delicious! Our waitress was really nice, personable and very informative. The atmosphere was mixed with both couples and kids (We visited here during the Cherry Festival) and on this particular day, we sat across from some very cranky and sleepy kids lol, but we still had a good time. 11/10 would recommend! We just arrived from out of town and needed a quick early lunch/dinner and 7 monks did not disappoint! We had the restaurant to ourselves and the service and food were wonderful! Highly recommend getting the sweet potato fries - a unique twist on their seasoning. Pairs well with a local beer! Great selection of beer. Burger was dynamite as was the Bahn mi sandwich. Friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere. Some outdoor seating on the sidewalk in front. Good assortment of local beers. Also, PBR on draft--always a favorite! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In town for a road trip up to Voyageurs National Park and decided to check out this location as both my fiancée and I love great good food and beer. I cannot recommend this place enough! The European Grilled Cheese, with its raspberry jalapeño jam, is something special. This is a must try! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've never been disappointed by seven monks. Awesome drink selection and excellent food. Between this and low Bar downstairs, you don't really need to go anywhere else in traverse city for good drinks.

The food was good but I feel like I need to hold them to a higher standard than the corner Applebee's. The pork nachos were delicious but the ghost pepper queso was temperature cold and so spicy hot that I paid for it for 2 days. The price was good though especially for the amount of meet on them. The other meal was the mac and cheese and they are good. They come out in a steeming hot pan that keep them hot from the 1st to last bite. It would be nice if for the $19 it came with a nice piece of bread or salad or something to make it a complete meal.

Very chicken sandwich. Good beer selection. We sat outside. Ordered our food through the app and they brought it out. It’s pretty convenient. Service was good.
