Had nice combo with women running place, told her it was my bday I went to pay my bill and gave me piece of cheese cake for my bday and chef and I had a nice conversation too! Recommend food and especially the view!

We saw the great reviews for this restaurant and the associated hotel and decided to try it with our guests. What a disappointment! While it has a beautiful location and the decor looks recently redone, everything else needed help. There were only two waitresses running the whole restaurant (including the bar) and one of them said she normally only handles the front desk for the hotel. As a result, service was abysmally slow. Besides that, the menu was pricey and very small with only two entrees (a mushroom ravioli or fish and chips) and they were out of the fish and chips, on a Sunday night! There were 5 specials, all but one were shellfish dishes, and they were also out of one of the options for sides, which the waitress did not know until she brought the meals out. Not only were our "hot" meals only lukewarm, but when we asked for tartar sauce to go with the fried shellfish, we had to wait nearly 10 minutes for pre-packaged tartar sauce that I'd have expected if we were in a low-end diner. Cocktails were good, but they had no drink menu whatsoever (not a wine or beer list, not a non-alcoholic drink list, nor a cocktail menu) and took nearly 20 minutes to come out.
Overall, if we had gone to this restaurant anticipating more of a roadside diner experience, I probably would have been unimpressed but not felt it worth a review. As it is, the website and branding of the restaurant plus the few reviews we found had us expecting a fairly fancy dinner experience, and we were in for a huge letdown.

This place is a mess, I'm sorry to say. It took an hour to get a salad. The waiter got our orders all wrong. The drinks are tiny. If you want your salad before your meal you're told no. All food came out at the same time - appetizers, salads, and main dishes. No cheese on the burgers. Burgers were burnt. Waiter didn't know prices of things. No wine list, no drink list. No one was managing the place. Waiters are sitting at the bar on their phones. Embarrassing place to bring four guests on their first night here.

Great little bar and grill. Overlooks Linekin Bay. Our server was a really nice kid from Serbia, spending the summer in East Boothbay. Good food. Great Service. Nice Spot.

Honestly, if I could give this incredible-amazing-extravagent getaway restaurant TEN STARS, I WOULD!! Every aspect of this establishment with hotel attached speaks perfection at its HIGHEST! Between the food, staff, service, ingenuity of their entrees, and appetizers, has personalism written all over it! If you want to go somewhere, experience a low key/relaxed atmosphere, that overlooks the Maine Coast, look NO FURTHER!! Book this restaurant, Book this hotel for a getaway and experience their and yours peace of mind in heaven!

Name says it all! Great outdoor patio to dine or relax in an Adirondack chair with a drink as you enjoy the ocean view and sunset. Great local beer selection. Don’t be fooled by the mussels being in the “bites” section, there’s a huge bowl of them. You can never go wrong with fish tacos.
