I was in for lunch today with a friend. We both ordered the braised shortribs. I'm sorry but this wasn't the plate I expected it to be. First..I like my food to be hot...many of the " what looked like canned mushrooms " were actually cold. The potatoes were warm. The beef was tender...it was OK. But really couldnt the onion rings have been hand battered instead of putting darn frozen ones on the top of this quite disappointing meal. For $20 plus tax and tip this was a waste of my hard earned money. I've eaten here several times...and I will say I had short ribs a few years back that were delious. This is the kind of restaurant you go to when you're not sure what you're hungry for. They have a lot of good choices, and everything I've tried has been great. The atmosphere is cozy, and they have a lot of booths so you can relax while you enjoy your meal. Service has always been friendly as well. Prices are really decent, so many folks are able to come here and get their bellies full. There is also a bar area for those wanting to grab a drink and watch the game. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I just wish I could buy a bag of that popcorn to take home! First time eating there.. appetizer were great....they put us in the bar area...music way to loud... Then the crazy started...me n my friend order the same entree but I got mashed potatoes and onions n peppers on my steak.. I had a long white hard brissal in my potatoes.. thank God i saw it before I ate any.. so they replaces it with a baked potato.. then the cut into my steak it eas over cooked to the point being so tough.. not medium .. my friends steak was totally different n thicker... I was so upset... But they treated me very well over this mess....bought me a complete new meal... Which was like night n day... But I had to eat alone n had lost my appetite.. again they treated well... I will try it again but not for awhile! Broiled haddock was not cooked! Two in my party had sirloin strip steak and they were thin & tough. Thai bowl & Mac & cheese w/buffalo chicken was great! Flat bread pizza looked yummy but child had no opinion lol cocktails were good. They were very busy and service was good. Ordered baked haddock. Should have been called blackened haddock. The crumb topping was burnt and black. Fish was thin and overcooked, dry and chewy with no flavor other than burnt from the topping. Tasted flavorless like tilapia. The mashed potato was refrigerator cold, not just "not hot", it had never been heated. Server was gracious about the food and took it back. The second plate, potatoes were hot, but had so much pepper they were hard to eat. My mouth was burning after eating. Fish was in the same condition as the first plate. See picture below that is what 29 dollars gets you. The portion size does not match the price. Today I had Justin ad a server I d give him a zero. Unfriendly never came back to check for refills or napkins. Also terrible customer service skills. I had asked him if they could not use a rub or seasoning he went to the kitchen as he didn't know the answer. FYI management communication with kitchen and servers is a must. This is terrible at this location. That's why people will leave or get mad that's because of bad communication and management skills. Justin finally was able to apologize but had he know what should of been know. The mistake wouldn't of happened he couldn't immediately addressed it and offered something else which he didn't. .Over all this was one of the worst experiences in my many years of eating out. A 1 s generous here. Music was to loud lighting was so so. Communication from front door to cook to server as everyone's not on the same page. I could of went to Applebee's or longhorn and got more for the same price. I mean I would of gotten more from a Wendy's 5 dollar biggie bag then what's on this plate for 29 dollars. Pretty bad the best part of my BBQ trio was the dam coleslaw followed by the military discount Won't be back for a while. As I dramatically overpaid Advise do better. Very pleased with our experience here. Our waitress, Elizabeth, was great. She was very attentive to our needs and friendly. She also had great recommendations. I felt the atmosphere and pricing during the lobster lovers weekend special was very reasonable. Both the cold and hot lobster roll were delicious. Will definitely be back! Food is well has a glitch or miss I guess. Main course was good but it's a first for finding corn in French onion soup. As for a margaritas 11.bucks for a small glass is a joke. Been yrs since I've been to a 99 and looks like I haven't missed much Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because we got the window Seay I asked for. I ordered an $18 meal and the asparagus was not cooked fully, the shrimp was over cooked and hard to eat. The broccoli should've have been more steamed. You get a small amount of food for a big price. Not worth it to me. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100

Friendly Fast Service. As always you get Free Popcorn to start that always keeps the kids happy. Add in there yummy seafood chowder and Fresh Salads and you have a great place to bring the family.
