Once the promenade around the Flaamsbana Museet is over, visit Ægir Bryggeri. The menu of this bar is recommended to Scandinavian cuisine lovers. Nothing can be better than trying good pork hock, beet salads and salmon gravlax. Ægir Bryggeri offers you tasty raspberry sorbet, Compote and brownies. Come here and order delicious craft beer, pale ale or stout. Come to this place for great cortado, juice or americano. It's easy to find this spot due to the convenient location. Many visitors note that the staff is accommodating here. Service at this bar is something one can name cool. Here you will pay affordable prices. There is a charming atmosphere and fancy decor at Ægir Bryggeri. The Facebook rating shows that this place assigned 4.6 stars.

When in Flam, you cannot really miss Aegir pub. A very cozy place (downstairs there is the ‘pub’ to enjoy a drink at the fireplace) whereas food is served upstairs. Recommended to reserve in advance (due to limited options in town, tends to get busy). We enjoyed the Viking plank - vegetarian and meat options. Both had 5 different dishes paired with 5 different beers. Overall very good flavors and enjoyed the experience. Food is plentiful. I wanted to like this more than I did, especially given the prices. My fish was tasty but a bit cold and there was a really large bone in it. The waiters didn’t seem to care much and were standoffish the whole evening. The downstairs area is really nice, but upstairs is cold and lacks atmosphere. However, there aren’t many options in Flam. I did not try other places. Visited in mid January 2024.

Food is generous, and the service is attentive. Portions are very generous and very well made. Love the decor and felt like I'm in a viking series set or even GoT. Highly recommended to make a trip here for a meal if you are in the area. Price per person kr 500–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is perfect! Food was good, beer and drinks was unique and everything was just too good! The atmosphere and design was really cosy and we really loved the concept of this pub. We’re staying at the hotel and managed to get a reservation for dinner when we checked in. We’re from London and we found this place so reasonably priced when compared to other fancy restaurants in the UK. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Norway again in the future. If you’re visiting Flam, wold recommend visiting this place. The food was amazing, specially the pork shank 😮‍💨. The beer tasting experience was interesting aswel. The price is ok. The only thing that could be better is the waiting time, wich I understand because we didn’t book in advance, so I’d recommend to do so. Price per person kr 1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We just had dinner and beers here with our toddler and we were blown away! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating with our daughter and the food was outstanding. We shared the “ran” creamy tomato and coconut soup and the “Odin” hummus and roasted veggies. Both were fantastic! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Rarely dine somewhere two nights in a row on holiday but gladly did here. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Amazing food and a range of both food and drinks for everyone. The Viking plank is filling but impeccably paired with the breweries beer. The beers are gorgeous too - high quality brewing on site. This is a genuine brew pub with novel Viking features including the classic fire to sit around. Try the Mead. Price per person kr 100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Highly recommend. Amazing restaurant in town. Perfect place, perfect ambience, delicious food, perfect drinks. Must visit everytime. Make sure booking is done as it is a busy place. Kudos to the chefs, hats off to them as they food is a happiness to the palette.. They also have own brewery and beer tasting. On our day trip to Flåm we ended up getting some lunch at the brewery. When you walk in, you immediately know you are in a first-class place. We were seated immediately, and our food came out super fast after ordering. I got the pulled goat burger with potatoes and a sample flight of beer. I've never had goat taste so good in my entire life. It was the perfect burger. The beer was also spot on with their style and very well made. As a professional brewer, I have to say I was really impressed by this place. The atmosphere was amazing with a rounded seating area on the 1st floor with a fire simmering and jovial visitors sipping on fantastic brews. Great job!
