Brown hair in my food. I am a male with short black hair and there was a woman’s hair in my food. Upon complaint, we didn’t expect a discount or any sort of special treatment, it was simply just something we wanted to point out. The lady upfront says “it must have come off the people at the tables”. Extremely unprofessional and I had no intent of leaving a bad review at all. Such a nice surprise! Even though there wasn’t an official vegan option on the menu, they happily made hash browns and piled veggies and mushrooms (generously) on top. Also added jalapeño and served with sourdough toast. Unbuttered. Jam and apple butter both vegan. Server was so nice. I believe her name was Erica. Atmosphere: 5

The food was excellent and came out fast. The service was great. A good-sized breakfast and lunch menu, many choices to choose from. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again. I had a terrible experience here. I'll never return. After I worked a 14 hour over night shift I wanted to get some breakfast before bed. Ordered my food and waited and waited, the people that came in after me got there food, and I waited, and then I fell asleep, right there on the table, they woke me up, I said I was sorry I was just really tired, and then I waited and waited, still no food! but they called the police on me. The officer asked me a million questions and wanted me to go to the ambulance, which I refused, still waiting for my French tst and bacon. About 10 minutes after the police left, and the people that came in after me, I wasnt really hungry any longer, so I paid for my cup of coffee, that was never refilled, and I left, fairly mortified. The stuffed hashbrowns were soooo good, though I wish we had gotten one to share instead of one each - so much food! My husband got the biscuits and gravy and thought they were tasty. We had breakfast here twice and much different experiences. It was busy both days. The first meal was quick. The second day the food was super slow, close to an hour. They, like others, are short of labor and recently lost a cook. The place is very clean with wide plank flooring and walls adorned with some local and retro pictures and signage. The coffee is very good. The breakfast was very good. The meat portions generous. We both had the two egg breakfast with Canadian bacon and hash browns. I noticed the second day that they display a Brandon sign near the register, which to me crosses a line. Some people think it’s cute; I think someone who Fs the president of either party must lack integrity. This is republican country; fine but why spread vulgarity and hate. I wonder if they have a Christmas ornament with the same message. How festive. Not sure that I’ll be back. If you like this review, please click on the Helpful button.

For the flatlander tourists: If you want fast food, Burger King is down the road. Great breakfasts take a bit of time to prepare and the food here is worth the wait. And don’t be a savage, tip WELL and above 50% minimum! Anything less is embarrassing proof that your parents failed in your upbringing. Deal with that and correct it. The staff is always amazing, and work incredibly hard to give you the best that they can despite the overwhelming crowds. Did I mention the food being great? I love this place and try to stop in at least once a week. Yeah, I’m THAT guy. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

Food was good, but don't be in a hurry, might've taken 45 mins to get our meal. Short handed, but if you're looking to sit and chat a bit, it's good food.

Great food. Great service. Good portions!! Would highly recommend. We ate outside , inside is crowded. But it's a small diner. So be prepared for a wait. 👍
