This was our first time at Alicia's Mexican Grille for a corporate lunch. Service was fast and efficient. The servers were also attentive throughout the entire luncheon. Prices were a bit higher than other restaurants but the quality was there. I highly recommend the Snapper Aliana. Great portion size and the snapper was tender and well seasoned. This was the first time I went there, and I definitely will go back. I tried three different dishes from chicken and beef, and food was outstanding. Food is really Tex-Mex, as they clearly state in their menu. Portions are good, not overwhelmingly big, service and atmosphere are really great. But for my penchant for authentic Mexican food, it's not really there (again, Tex- Mex is more of a fusion kind of cooking), hence the 4 stars for food. Absolutely loved the service and cleanliness. Our first visit... certainly wont be our last. Had dinner, the wait staff was EXCELLENT ! Very extensive menu and prices were competitive with other similar restaurants. Food was delivered quickly and was very very good. Very large portions and everything was top notch. Again the wait staff was very attentive to refill drinks, etc. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Cypress area. There is a long wait to get inside which is only drawback. The guy bussed ourvtable as we finished. The waitress was rushed and still pleasant and available, large servings, food, the queso with chorizo was gone in seconds as the stretchy cheese was enjoyed by all. Chips and sauces were good. Noise level is always super high in this place even when it’s not fully packed. Hostess and wait staff are fast and super friendly. The food… it’s ok. Sauces are rather bland. Not a fan of the corn or rice. Definitely not a fan of the tortillas used for the enchiladas. They are entirely too thick. Needs to be hotter temperature wise.
