I recently had the pleasure of visiting Apricot and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly roasted coffee and nuts, the tempting sight of colorful dried fruits, and the irresistible allure of Turkish sweets. The selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of nuts, from crunchy hazelnuts to creamy cashews, and an array of dried fruits, from tangy peaches to sweet figs. Have I mentioned the delights? From delicate Turkish delight to decadent baklava, each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. And let's not forget their selection of coffee and teas ranging from traditional Turkish black tea to aromatic herbal blends. The staff at Apricot were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, eager to help me navigate and offer recommendations based on my preferences. The store itself was stylish, impeccably clean, and well-organized, making it a pleasure to shop there. Overall, my experience at Apricot was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you're a connoisseur of nuts and dried fruits, a lover of Turkish coffee and tea, or simply someone with a sweet tooth, this store has something to satisfy every craving. I highly recommend paying them a visit – you won't be disappointed! I visited the cute cafe next door and realized that Apricot was connected. I wanted to love it in here so bad because there was a wide variety of things and I would have loved to purchase something however the employee who worked there was not friendly and that ruined the entire visit for me. In fact, he came from the back and stared at me as I walked around looking at things. When I asked how much the Turkish delight was he answered dismissively and told me “I don’t know, it’s per pound or something.” He said this as if I was annoying him by asking even though no price signs were posted. He also made no attempt to actually find the price for me. He then proceeded to continue staring at me as if he wanted to make sure I wasn’t stealing anything. He didn’t ask if I needed help, talk to me, smile, or offer anything. He acted like I was bothering him and stood guard in the middle of the store, closely following me and turning his body wherever I moved. He acted like he needed to keep an eye on me for some strange reason. I was very uncomfortable and felt unwelcomed. I won’t be spending my money at any establishment where I’m not welcomed so I left without purchasing anything in Apricot and would recommend other Black people to do the same if that same unfriendly employee is working there. The baklava was not what I expected. I would give 2 stars to it. It was no different than what you would get at a so-so take out Mediterranean place. It was very sweet, doughy. I have had really good baklavas. But giving three stars for the location n that they have a cafe as well. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is one of our favorite places in Morristown! The coffee is phenomenal. The Turkish coffee is very authentic and all of their lattes and cappuccinos are also delicious. Their baklava is some of the best I’ve ever had. I really could not recommend all of their desserts enough. It is attached to a store where you can buy all sorts of treats and dried fruits to take home as well. The inside atmosphere is so cozy and they have outdoor seating as well. Come check out apricot!
