I always have a good experience when I come here, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are fairly reasonable and the selection is immaculate. I’m the type of person who likes a lot of different genres and they carry so many records I like from those genres. Hands down my favorite record store in California.

I used to love this place. I have a stack of records that I have special ordered because their employees are super cool. But I just called and asked them to hold something for me that they already have in stock for one day and was turned down. Terrible business practice. I’m going to a concert in two weeks for Chris Isaac and was hoping to get a record signed and now I will never patron this place again. Horrible management ruining things. Why establish a relationship if it means nothing? Just buy off Amazon.

Nice, friendly shop with a surprisingly strong little bar inside! My friends didn't know about it, so here is your PSA. Great place to have a brew or two, share a conversation, and listen to some tunes 😃

Pros: Friendly and welcoming staff, good selection of both new and used records, clean store, and even a bar if you want to grab a drink.
Cons: Prices err on the higher side. Given that Armadillo is the only record store in town (sorry, Bizarro World across the street doesn't really count), they can pull that off. To be fair, I am sure that their monthly rent is high.
Overall though, a decent place to find albums here in Davis and it's always good to support local business.

Nice place settled right in the middle of a bustling downtown Davis. Clean store with a large selection of vinyl. New and used selections. Prices tend to be on the higher end but are not overly outrageous. Staff seems friendly. Clean store, well organized. Cool taproom located inside the store off to the right when you walk in. Give it a shot.

This place is great! Tons of great, well priced music and a small bar with beer, ciders, hard kombucha, and non-alcoholic beverages. I enjoyed getting to chat with the staff while enjoying a stout and listening to and looking for music. This place is a real community gem and I can't wait to visit again!

No complaints!
I was there on my first and most recent RSD.
Everything was handled smoothly! The staff is very kind and knowledgeable.
The selections are fantastic. Plenty of everything in there.
If it wasn’t too far from me, it’d definitely be my go to spot.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Davis or Sacramento area!
