Update. We came back and they do not charge for chips and salsa now. Good job Armando's!!! Food was delicious! Thank you so much for all you do for small town communities. 5 ⭐ Do NOT (I repeat) DO NOT charge the customer for chips and salsa that THEY did not order... Honestly I would have ordered them anyways, but since this is the going complaint on these reviews I wanted to see for myself if this was true or not and unfortunately it is. 😞 Food was very good, I would give a 5 star on the food. I love celantro and it was evident in the guacamole. Thank you for that. Salsa was on point and prices of entree's were respectable. $8.50 for chips and salsa that were not asked for were unreasonable. Service was good. Note to servers: Let us know about your drink specials and what's in them. I ordered water because of this. Place looked clean and everyone was very nice. Salsa was not very good. It was more tomato sauce than a put together salsa. Main dish- fejita enchiladas. Plate was hot to the touch. Tells me they nuked the dish for a few minutes. Never a good sign at a restaurant, but ultimately it comes down to the taste. I got two enchiladas with rice and beans. Enchiladas- Bland. There was an obscene amount of cheese smothered on top of the enchiladas. Cheese imparted no particular flavor. If I was to compare it to something familiar, it’s like American craft cheese, but white. The enchilada sauce, the thing that makes enchiladas pop, was tasteless. You can see a sliver of red sauce covering the enchiladas, but it could not be tasted. The filling in the enchiladas was sparse. Maybe a slice of a steak and a green pepper cut up per enchilada. Rice- nothing special. Beans- nothing special. For $13 dollars, I was disappointed. I was hoping with the big crowd that I was stepping into a good hole in the wall restaurant. However, I left with an upset stomach. Just…disappointed

Ordered the Poncho Villa Burrito. Food was mediocre at best. Customer service sucked. All of the waitresses seemed like it was a problem to wait on anyone. Not one of them smiled or said hello.
