We ate at Ashton Family Restaurant for breakfast at about 9:30 on a Sunday. Tried it out because of the high ratings and it looks cute from the outside. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the ratings are so high. The bar area was cute like the show Cheers. The rest of the restaurant had a lot of booths. Service was weird and vacant, disengaged. The food was set up like a buffet but you could also order from the menu. The offerings were spare and looked dried out and picked over. I chose to order off the menu, and as a waitress had warned it would take a long time. She was right, it did take a really long time and was pretty bad. Got the chicken sandwich. we won’t be back.

Maybe the best restaurant in manassas. Their food is amazing. They obviously use fresh good ingredients. So far I tried their lasagna and breakfast burrito and gyro (see photo below) and it was delicious.

Went on a Sunday afternoon with my family. Kids menu as breakfast and lunch portions ranging $6-$8. My husband and I ordered breakfast 🥞 the best pancakes I've had. Perfectly cooked (doughy and fluffy) not sure if I just got lucky or if it always like that. I ordered the "Tex Mex omelet" with home fries rich in flavor but not salty, it was really good. He got the chicken omelet with cilantro. Everything was good and there are other things on the menu I wanted to try. Will go back to do that. Service and atmosphere was good and clean. My wife had eaten here and she said I’d enjoy it. I definitely like this place. Classic restaurant and great food. My wife had already had the lunch jambalaya and she got the pita sandwich this time. Visited Ashton Family restaurant Friday August 4 around 10 am. This was our first time and our party of 7 was seated quickly. Our server was Paula and her wisecracks had us all in a good mood! We ordered different things with mine being Huevos Con Chorizo. It was excellent! The coffee was freshly made and the fresh squeezed OJ was refreshing!i would definitely recommend them as a great alternate to IHOP or SILVER DINER!
