The food was…okay. I got a sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. The muffin itself wasn’t toasted, so it made it taste not quite right as a breakfast sandwich. We were here all day and stopped in later for a snack. We got a piece of the banana cake and milk. The milk, although in date, was seriously spoiled. The cake was okay. Clean...but the food was downright disgusting. When I lived in Danville, my son and I used to come to the hospital for dinner. It used to be delicious. Threw most of it away. $25 down the drain. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

If you need a snack or meal while visiting the hospital or working there, this is the place to go. Large, clean, and delicious food. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10
As a cancer patient with other complications I visit the Danville Geisinger often and have eaten lunch here many times. I find the sandwiches very tasty but a bit over priced. I am 71 and find all products overpriced. Having this cafeteria available is very convenient when I am between tests or an appointment with a doctor or a radiation treatment. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
I work 2nd shift here. After 6 or 7pm the pickings are slim. Very very slim. I can't do gluten and I have given up going during the off hours in the hopes to find something gluten free. Frozen microwave meals are preferable to wasting time on the walk down to find nothing I can eat.
I had their pizza once on December 30th 2015, it was just ok. Not horrible, but not fantastic. It could have been hotter, the 🍕 was just luke warm. When you ask for a slice, they don't bother to reheat it for you. They just take a slice of from the pie that has been sitting there for who knows how long and give it to you. My real complaint which goes for all Geisinger locations is that you can't get plain coke a cola. You always have to take low calorie or diet soda. That's not fair to the visitors.
I work here, so its all i really have to choose from, but the options are very healthy. Entrees are hit or miss depending on the day, but the sushi, salad and sandwich bars make up for it. Still good food overall. Pizza sucks though.
Geisinger should be totally embarrassed with this restaurant! They have signs all over indicating great health care, but serve food that is so unhealthy and poorly prepared. The salad bar, which is the healthiest option, is filthy and poorly stocked. Three nights in a row they served noodles with big chunks of butter melting into them. They also served terrible tasting macaroni and cheese. Geisinger's heart professionals will tell you to eat heart healthy food but this is nowhere to be found in this place. The manager should be fired. One of us bought a pack of veggies that were starting to rot. The attendant told us that it was not too bad. The customer service and cleanliness is deplorable.
The food is decent tasting but the prices are outrageous. Especially for a hospital. When you have a child admitted to the hospital and you have no choice but to eat what they have in the atrium it adds up very fast. Most people that come to the hospital, do so because they are sick. Charging people through the nose to eat a meal when they've had medical tests and or procedures all day is a disgrace.
They make great efforts to be diverse, delicious, and healthy. The pizza should be thrown out, otherwise, I'd recommend almost everything else. The International station is typically my favorite
