One of the best delis in the Sacramento hands down. Walking in the air is filled with fresh bread being baked so thick even through my Newport coated lungs my mouth was watering.
Not only is the owner an absolute gem, happy to give tours and talk about the specials; she also works 7 days a week running this place by herself. 6 making wonderful sandwiches, breads, soups and treats and the 7th shopping.
For most people that would probably be too much but by the smile on the owners face you can tell she loves what she does and that shows in the food.
I got the daily special, pastrami with all the fixings. My partner got a half of chicken artichoke and some chorizo chili. The food was fresh, tasted amazing and the portions were enough for my 350lbs body to fill up on. The total was 30$ which by itself is a great price but knowing it's going to a local small business that pours love into their food? With that in mind it's a steal.
In a world filled with fast food joints on every corner baguettes provides good, local fresh food with love for the same price. Me and my boyfriend will be back.
Lovely little place! We got the chicken, artichoke and pesto sandwich with broccoli salad and chips and salsa. Very delicious! Great staff and very tasty, fresh made bites!
Wonderful, quiet, stop after a Sunday morning walk at the creek. Great French pressed coffee. I had the avocado toast with an egg white, delicious! My partner had the breakfast burrito which was good and plentiful. We sat on the patio with our pup - dog friendly is a plus! Fantastic service, highly recommend!
Consistently delicious food, lots of menu options, freshly made bread, desserts, chips, salsa, and soups every day, generous portions, sooo yummy!

Breakfast Sandwich
This was an amazing sandwich. Homemade delicious focaccia bread. Special of the day chicken, artichoke, creamy pesto, and spring dressing. The broccoli salad was fresh and seasoned perfectly.
Definitely a hidden Gem tucked away in the neighborhood. Paula, the owner, is a true artesian when it comes to crafting sandwiches. The fact that she bakes her own bread, and makes everything homemade just adds that special touch of love and care to each creation. You can tell she pours her heart into every detail, and it truly reflects in the taste. 😋
Just had the absolute best lunch!! Why have we not known about this place sooner?! Everything is made from scratch!! Even the bread!! We will be looking forward to our next visit!!! Yummy baked goods too!!
Buddy. This is the spot for delicious, quality made food in EG. Everything on the menu is fantastic and fresh.....and more importantly, lovingly prepared. The ham and cheese panini is absolutely out of this world delicious. Craveable! It's the apricot preserves, it's the jalapenos, it's the cream cheese, the fresh bread, have I told you about the bread??? I'm sorry, did I mention quality ham? Quality ham!! And reasonably priced ❤️💲
Don't get me wrong, it's also the cookie or other homemade dessert beckoning you at the check out. Along with a side of homemade flour tortilla chips and daily salsa?? Honestly, I'm guessing about the daily made salsa, I'm just going to speak out of turn here and say that the chips and salsa is fresh every day because it tastes like it..
