Best Duck in Houston! It is cooked to perfection; juicy, fatty and soft. The skin is crispy and the flavor is absolutely delicious! It is carefully cut, they make sure it has no cartilage or bone remains (that would be unpleasant) The accompaniments are finely cut, the sauces are tasty and the presentation is pleasant. I have tried several dishes, all good and tasty, but for me the duck is simply exceptional. The place is not the prettiest but it is clean and the staff is very friendly. If you’re looking for the most authentic Chinese food in the area, this is the place to be! I’ve been here several times and their food is always consistent. I just wish their service would be as consistent as their food, but it’s a hit and miss depending who you were assigned to. Nevertheless, it’s a must-try if you’re in the area! Best. Peking. Duck. Ever. Worth the drive just for that. Perfect crispy skin and supplements. The free duck soup was cherry on the cake - it was delicious too. Authentic Chinese flavors. Fun fact: they were the first restaurant in Houston to prepare Peking Duck the traditional way Super friendly and fast service. Fair prices. We LOVE Bamboo House! We drive about an hour to get here and it is so worth it every time. The waitstaff is so sweet, and the food is out of this world!!!! I ate at many Peking ducks places both in China and in the States (San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, etc.). This was the best Peking duck I have had so far. The skin, the meat, the wraps, the sauce, and the scallions were just right with so much flavor. So I ate here twice within a week. It was really good. As far as the Sichuan dishes here, I think they were okay, still good flavor but for me they were too sweet. We always order Peking duck that comes with crepes and soup, braised pork, crispy spicy chicken, and Japanese egg tofu w mushroom. Delicious!! Good portions. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really cool looking spot on the inside and outside, but the food was just ok. I appreciated them having vegetarian options near the airport, but the flavors of the orange tofu were lacking. Not bad, definitely edible, just also not great, I could see myself grabbing food from here in a desperation situation. Best Asian food this side of the city. Think about it every time I’m near the airport. They give you large amounts of food, and it’s always a really good time. Sesame chicken is incredible. Definitely take some hungry people. Plenty of parking, and never too busy to accommodate. They mostly do takeout since Covid, but I’m sure the dine in part is coming back. At least I hope so. Really good people, and really deserving. Love Bamboo House!!!

Beijing roasted duck is a must try item here, and the duck skin is so juicy, crispy and served with sugar, which is a Beijing way to enjoy the skin. Mango shrimp surprised me with the amazing sauce. Beef tongue is only provided from Fri-Sun, and it is so delicious. My waitress has a bright smile, and she is so considerate and helpful.
