We went to celebrate our oldest son's birthday. I had all my guys with me; dad, husband and sons. Our waiter was exceptional! The appetizers, sides, entrees and dessert were all fabulous. All the steaks were cooked correctly and that is tough to do with our group who orders them rare to well done. This was our first time at this location. Very enjoyable evening. Very pleasant date night experience. I would say the food was flavorful and cooked properly. They seemed to me to have an over abundance of wait staff, just standing about. Perhaps it is my pet peeve of work. If you are at work you work. Regardless it is a nice place. We started off with appetizer of fried mushrooms and cauliflower. Entrée of steak of the day and finished with a banana foster. Steak was juicy and cooked just as I asked. Cream corn had a little too much cream. Potatoes were comforting. Exactly what I was hoping for. A high end dining experience at a steak house. Everything from the atmosphere, the service, and the most important part: the food! I started with their kale ceasar salad, and I have to say, it was the best I've had in recent memory. They had some unique flavors thrown in, with the abundance of cheese in top that paired so well with the kale. I went with the prime filet for my entree, with a side of black eyed peas. I had my filet butterflied and it was cooked to perfection. So juicy, and jam packed with flavor. The peas were so nice and buttery. My friend had the ribeye and it was amazing as well. So much flavor in one bite. For dessert, I had the banana fosters, and it was so rich and smooth. The perfect balance of all the flavors. If you're interested, they have a great selection of drinks, wines, and liquors. They even have a high end whiskey menu if you ask. I will definitely be back, and cannot recommend this place enough. We stopped in to celebrate an anniversary and had a wonderful meal. The onion rings are GREAT, and I want to try the mozzarella sticks next time we visit! Service was outstanding and we had some great recommendations. The steaks were delicious, I also tried the crab legs which came pre-cracked and ready to enjoy. The mashed potato’s and Mac and cheese were delicious, I would pick them again! Every part of the meal was fantastic and we really enjoyed our visit, thanks for making a wonderful place for us to come and celebrate and make a fun memory! We had such high hopes for our first time dining here based on other reviews. The onion rings were good. It’s an appetizer and a big portion so plenty to share. Fries were just okay and the sweet potato soufflé was good, however the marshmallows made them overly sweet. Maybe order them without the marshmallows. We ordered the porterhouse and it was a big piece of flavorless meat. We were told that the ribs were great (my husband loves ribs) but my husband was not impressed. Also had the prime ribeye and it tastes like steak that I make at home. Had better steak at Pampas. If you like bland meat then this may be your spot. Our server didn’t return for long periods of time. Another server saw us just sitting there and came to take our order and when we decided to return the steak a different server noticed me looking around and came to assist. Really wanted to love this place since it’s close to our home.
