If the owner would like to know details about how poorly the manager treated us today when we brought in a birthday party of about 40 people, please contact me. Food was decent and other employees were very kind, but you need to reevaluate who is running your business when you’re not there. We drove 3 hours to spend time with our granddaughter and came to Barone’s Pizza and Arcade because there’s no Chuck E Cheese in Gadsden. It cost $35 for 2 adult buffets and 1 small child. Glad the drinks are included, otherwise that would be way too much! The buffet pizza was hot, fresh and good. There was a good selection of pizzas to choose from, the desert pies were ok. Salad bar was also good, just which they had some shredded chicken for my salad because I don’t eat pork. Pasta was not good. The Arcade is outdated and a big disappointment. Most of the games were broken or malfunctioning. There are no games for smaller kids and my granddaughter left upset. We go here every week with our kids and they love it but this past week it was not the experience we usually get. Ordered my husband his usual pizza and it was a disaster. Waited 20 mins for pizzas to cook to go, went to pick up, cashier dropped one of them out of the box so we were asked to wait 8 more mins while they cooked another one. When picking up the new pizza the second employee dropped out a few slices from the box into the floor yet again. So instead of the manager (I’m assuming bc she presented herself as such) offering to refund my money or something more to make it right she offered me 2 slices cut from a pizza she had coming out of the oven. Get home and one of the other pizzas was not edible, taste as if the dough was still raw/uncooked. Not a pleasant experience!
