Lovers Point Beach Cafe is pretty near Lovers Point Park. It's a pleasant experience to eat nicely cooked crab sandwiches, chicken and crabs. Nothing can be better than eating good muffins, croissants and acai bowls. Great latte, hot chocolate or tea will make your meal better and you'll certainly come back. Sitting outdoors, you can enjoy a beautiful view. Most reviewers find the staff patient. Reasonable prices are something that should be said about this cafe. Super rude girl working. Asked for a sandwich she said they weren’t making them anymore. Asked for a bagel instead, I proceeded to wait about 10 minutes then watch her start making a sandwich for a customer after me. I asked for a sandwich again since she was making one she smirked and said no. Then gave me a cold bagel with a pre packed cup of cream cheese. Great views, decent coffee, good food but way overpriced. Staff of young people often rude and seem annoyed with customers (I'm a local and I've been at least 30 times so its not just a rare occurrence). Biggest issue is that they never open by advertised time in the morning. They obviously need better management. Average cafe in the same building as the public bathroom. Absolutely, no luxury, feels more like you are in the parking lot, next to trash bins. However, the ocean makes it all up. Food: is ok, I have ordered croissant breakfast sandwich with egg, no meat and added avocado. Honestly, my expectations were higher than what I got. Large Latte was good. Paid $20 for both, quite pricey for what you get. Service: ok, ladies are nice. However, not clear, where to pick up the food and at the end it served next to the trash 🗑️ bin - this is really unattractive especially to eat after that image stuck in your mind. Atmosphere: ok, the cafe shares a building with public restrooms. Has metallic, public like tables and sits outside. The sound of the ocean makes it all up. Would I eat here again? - no, unless the trash bin will be repositioned or the serving place will be removed. Overall impression: nice to get coffee, after the restroom.
