It’s been a decade since I’ve been to Benihana and the experience is amplified by the cook and the company that you are sat with. We got a good cook bad company. Came here for Lunch on Christmas day. They were busy. I suggest getting a reservation and not walking in on holidays. They have a different menu for holidays so no lunch option. Their kids meal hibachi starts at $20. I think that’s a little overpriced for a kids meal that’s why I’m taking off one star for the food. Chef Ian was good. He looked shy and nervous but the food tasted great. I’ve tried other teppanyaki places and this is by far the most expensive. Overall, I will still recommend this place for the experience and the food. This place is located at The Shops at Santa Anita Mall. There are plenty of free parking spaces. I just had dinner hear with chef NIKITA She just started hear but she is absolutely amazing we are difficult when it comes to how we order we like extra garlic butter well done and a lot of soy sauce and I only instructed her once how I wanted it she exceeded my expectation she also has a awesome personality. Will definitely request her again.
