They let too many people in at once. After a while, I noticed that the line to the buffet inside the restaurant was like 80 people deep. Imagine having to wait for that many people for each trip to the buffet! I passed and decided to leave the queue. It’s a shame because the food looked good. The decor is a bit much, but within their right. You might do better to come for a service other than Saturday night. Maybe I’ll try to eat at a different time if I am in the area again. I really wanted to like this place more. I've been passing it by for years driving down highway 49 and on this Monday, I finally had the time to stop. Service was great- our waitress was incredibly friendly, as were all employees we encountered. The restaurant is Christian-themed- they play Christian music softly in the background and on TV's situated around the dining area. For a building so huge, you'd expect a large buffet - its much smaller than anticipated. Like... smaller than your average Chinese buffet. Not a ton of variety, but in fairness, this was a lunch buffet. The food itself was just okay. Most of what was available seemed like your average Sysco/PFG fare. If you're hungry, you can fill up here for sure, but nothing really stands out in terms of flavor. It's possible that the dinner/seafood buffet options get a little more care in preparation. Drove by this place the last time I was heading through and vowed to stop the next time. We weren't disappointed. Loved everything that was on the lunch buffet. Really enjoyed the videos playing. I'm a big fan of Maverick City and Elevation Worship which made for a nice atmosphere for lunch. Loved the metal cups as the cold water was so refreshing each time that cold cup touched my lips. Everyone was so pleasant while working there. Such a gem for the people who live here. And yes, Jesus is Lord. I think the really live out Roman's 1:16! Very family friendly place to dine. I'd even venture to say good for family reunions. The food was great, but I still say that many of my sides were extremely salty. Service was just as family friendly as the overall atmosphere. I'd go back, but again, I had a major concern regarding the salt level in several of the side items. The service here was impeccable! The quality, taste, and presentation were over the top! Never before seen in a buffet! We were just passing through but had heard of Berry's and wanted to give it a try! Great experience!
