Place is open for the season, despite an incorrect listing it is temporarily closed. Worthy destination of a long drive for a very large and extremely tasty fish sandwich. The fries are tasty too. One of a kind place and experience not to be missed, -and she is a great host, kind and charismatic. One of the best deals around Boothbay and in Maine !

This place is as legitimate as it comes. Mother and daughter been there for 25 plus years doing the same two dishes over and over again. Cooked to perfection. Be sure you go to the right place, the new place around the corner is not bets! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cute fish fry shack with huge portions! There’s parking on site and picnic tables with umbrellas. Service was quick, and the food was delicious. There’s a vending machine out back for drinks ($3 each). This is a cash only restaurant. It seemed to be a popular spot for both locals and tourists! Meal type Lunch

Bets makes the perfect fried fish. Came for a family reunion and looked forward to going back for many years. Was just as good as the first time.
