Exceptional we, got the ox tail and the red snapper, both came with sides, green banana, rice salad and potato/pumpkin, the food didn't disappoint one bit, and the lady was very welcoming and hospitable, and price wise is affordable. Biggy’s food is a clear reflection of all of the love, passion, and creativity that she pours into it. Hands down the best meal I’ve had while visiting St. Maarten, and probably the best I’ve had anywhere at all. If I lived nearby, you bet your bottom I’d be here multiple times a week. Biggy was a sweetheart who talked to us, shared a bit of life with her dog, and served what is certainly the best pork chop I've ever had. The salad that came with it was crisp and refreshing. The potato salad was flavored perfectly. The rice was some of the most flavorful I've had and wasn't oversalted to accomplish it. It was even topped off with a few slices of plantain. And gave me a Johnny cake to try since I've never had one. I wish a place this good existed back home. Biggy's will be my first stop next time I'm in St. Maarten. I took a couple of hours to reflect on this review and came back to it. It's all accurate and more. I lack the proper words to adequately describe how good that food was. I've been on vacation in St. Maarten for over a week now, and this place made rethink feelings I've had towards other restaurants. There's a lot of good food here, and yet still, I don't think it's fair to try and compare them to Biggy's cooking. There's really no comparison. Her meals blow any fine dining experience out of the water In short, eat here. If you're on the island, make a stop here. Try this and take those memories home. You won't regret it. Strongly recommended. Not to be missed when you're in Philipsburg! The fish dish is incredible, fried to the right extent, accompanied by tomato-based delicious dressing. Rice, salad and other sides are also decent. Given the amount and the quality, it's a great deal, and absolutely impressive dining experience! Please come to check out Biggy's Central. We are on a cruise and wanted to eat at a local place. DEELICIOUS!!! Buggy was so nice and the snapper was outta sight. Had never had fish cake before and it was smooth like creamy mashed potatoes. I could eat the avocado salad as an entire meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
