It was my first time having a pastie. They were delish. I love the history behind the food. How the miners would eat them for lunch. It basically a hot pocket with meat and veggies. I got the beef and potatoes. I loved the hot sauce that came along with the pastie. I also got a delicious apple pie. Thanks for the great experience. I will definitely be back next time. What a treat for the weary traveler or, I would imagine, for any Elko local. Way tastier than fast food and you get to support a local business. Sweet people running the place too.
