Horrendous. Went here for my girlfriend's birthday and we had a terrible time. How is the service so slow when it wasn't that busy and there's so many waitress/waiters? On top of that, the food tasted so old and stale, especially the sweet potato fries. $65+ for 2 people ordering only 2 appetizers, 1 mimosa, and a side of sweet potato fries is outrageous. Plus they charged for the birthday treat. This was our 3rd time coming here and each time it progressively got worse. Definitely the last time coming here. Go to Applebee's instead. Came in with some friend tonight to unwind with some apps and drinks, the food is always solid but Robyn went above and beyond. She was super attentive, made sure our order came out fast and checked in any time she saw our drinks getting low. Definitely coming back and looking for Robyn’s section. The BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Elk Grove is always very busy. I had my dinner here a few times and changed my mind a few times after finding a long wait if I didn't make a reservation. The restaurant is very good, especially for a big party. Everyone in my family will find some dishes they like. The prices are reasonable. The service is pretty good too! The waitress took a long time to bring our food. The food arrived cold. You could tell it had been sitting for awhile since the cheese was melted. She also did not give us everything we asked for. It would have been nice to eat every thing together and have it hot. It wasn't that busy there. And there was plenty of workers. We still gave her a tip. More than we should have. 😔 We ate here before and the waiter was so nice. And served us everything we asked for. Plus the food was nice and hot. And the place was packed at that time. I came into BJ's with a group of friends for lunch as we were celebrating my friend's promotion. We felt so comfortable in the back of the restaurant in the spacious booths. Our server was Gabriela. She was so kind and personable the moment she came to our table. We felt like she was family! She was very knowledgeable about the cocktails. We ordered the Grand Patron margaritas and they did us just right! Gabriela mentioned the Prime Rib special and it did not disappoint! And dessert included!!! We will definitely be coming back and requesting Gabriela. I have been to this location several times but never had the pleasure of such excellent service!
