Too good! Great place and service!! We ordered the flight... Pale ale, stout, tough end and next goal... Each better than the next.. Great location and parking!!!

We are lucky to have a selection of Microbrews in Orono! Black Bear gets 5 stars from me for its great (and diverse) beer, amazingly friendly and awesome bartenders, and chill hang-out vibe - it’s called “Orono’s Living Room” for a reason.

This is a great place to have a locally brewed beer. The bartender is awesome, the beer is great, the atmosphere is good, the prices are fair.

Had a great experience at Black Bear Brewing. Husband tried a flight of beer and I tried Mango Habanero Limeade. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The best and oldest brewery around. Great staff and even better beer! Kid friendly. A great selection of beers on tap, Maine made root were and other sodas for the younger ones and now with some pub food inside. Amazing food and great specials and new chefs quarterly!. Swing in and order. You won't be disappointed! Outdoor seating during seasonal months.

We went there for an event related to ranked choice voting and the event didn't disappoint. We got to drink beer, eat pizza and talk to Zak Ringlestein. What a night! Definitely recommend!

I encourage anyone passing through to stop in and strike up a conversation with someone at the bar, see why the locals have endearingly nicknamed the black bear brewery: orono's living room. Not to mention great scrumptious and clean beers!
