My experience honestly could have been a fluke. First time going, and I'm open to going again. The flavors were great, and the presentation was beautiful. Nice and attentive staff. Their red pepper flakes actually have good flavor. Most are bland and meant for cooking. I only had a couple of reasons to drop my rating, which could have just been my experience and are easily fixable! The first was that the pizza was really greasy, which led to a droopy softer pizza than I prefer. Secondly, the pizza wasn't cut the best. Otherwise, it was great! I travel a lot and every time I come through Missoula I go here, this stuff is so good high quality and the owner(I believe) today I just was so great with staff and customers. I got a pizza that I called in and a salad that I added to the order once I arrived. They were so sweet on the phone and informed me of what did and didn’t have canola oil. Super presentable staff on both sides (walked in The restaurant side originally thinking I’d ordered there) they offered to get the pizza for me but I’d rather take a walk and assured them I’d get it. The Hungarian mushroom pizza was exquisite. A perfect blend of flavors that has kept me up at night, wanting another bite. The location is clean, inviting, and offers a good view of the downtown area.

BIGA PIZZA is outstanding! The dough is made by hand on location and thrown the old fashioned way then once the toppings are on, cooked in a fired oven. The results are stellar! The staff is super friendly too. It's a must try! The only way to truly experience it is to go and try the multitude of culinary offerings because they make more than pizza! I absolutely loved the fact that we could order 1/2 pizzas to try many of the dishes offered ! The surprising and fancy flavor profile of these pizzas was the highlight of my trip. Addicted to their prosciutto and fig pizza. They make a great pepperoni pizza for traditionalists and offer many creative options. The butternut squash soup was amazing. The was a 10-15 minute wait on Friday but we were able to walk around downtown and they texted us when the table was ready. Some people made a to go order and had it delivered to Cranky Sam’s to avoid the table wait also which sounded like a great idea for next time. Friendly service. Pizza was just okay. Biga Pizza was strongly recommended by several locals, so I was eager to try it. Nothing wrong with the pizza, but it wasn't my preference. Pizzas were too oily and the dough was too tough/dense. If you like that, then you'll love their pizza!
