Right after visiting Inland Water Route HistoricL Society, come here for a meal. Taste nicely cooked honey chicken, fried fish and burgers. Good beer will make your meal even more delicious and you'll certainly come back. Delicious coffee is waiting for you at this bar. The cosy atmosphere of Bob's Place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. The cool staff welcomes visitors all year round. According to the reviewers' opinions, prices are fair. Great experience! We arranged to bring our hockey team and families to Bob's Place for a team lunch. We called a couple of weeks in advance and Taylor made sure that we were well taken care of. The whole back room set up and ready for us. Food was great (cheese curds were fantastic!), the kids played the arcade games and pool tables, and the parents were able to relax and watch games on the multiple TVs in the party room. Stopped in for a bite to eat. Our first time ever eating in Alanson. Great menu selection. We had burgers. I must say, the best burger I ever had. Mushroom/Swiss. Huge burger! Done the way we requested. The mushrooms tasted like they were fresh picked. Big order of onion rings. Very clean atomosphere and great service. I highly recommend to you to stop in at Bob's Place! Decided to try it out again the other day as dining options are limited in the Alanson area. I guess I figured it being new owners it would be ran differently. I was wrong of course. The kitchen clearly doesn't care about the the quality of food that goes out. It was not very busy and it took close to 20 minutes for one order of firesticks to come out. I don't mind if they are actually cooked. They came out and were luke warm on the inside. The Tortilla shell should have been golden brown. Sent them back to have them cooked longer and they were just thrown in the microwave. They came out hot and soggy. At this point it was a lost cause. From how we were greeting upon arrival to the time it took to make a simple drink. I was reminded why we stopped dining there. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Did a take out order. Food was good. Prices were not as advertised online. Was surprised how expensive it was for 3 meals, just burgers and sandwiches, no drinks was over $60. Probably won't return.
