Delicious pancakes, spacious seating areas, beautiful surroundings. Self-service line on a Saturday afternoon was long but moved quickly.

Great pitstop when cycling through the dunes or when coming back from a hike over the beach from Scheveningen. Cosy inside atmosphere when the firepit is on during winter, outside there's enough place to find a seat. Self service with buzzers, tasty food, great pancakes and apple cake, everything relaxed. Reachable by car, there are nearby parking places. Horse, kid and dog friendly, great for families, playground around the corner, drinking facilities for dogs and stables available for horses.

Good food (check my photos) and nice service, but nowadays that's not everything. Completely ruined by their attitude. As usual, money is more important than their customers' health.
They don't check the COVID vaccine QR code with the excuse of the poor mobile signal they have. While this is true, the signal is more than good enough to do the coronavirus check, with any company. I have a dual sim phone with T-Mobile and KPN simcards and I verified this. By the way, I'm a software engineer with a telecommunications background, so it's hard for anyone to sell me these excuses.
For instance, I was able to download their menu in a PDF file from the web, and even send it via WhatsApp to my partner. They "don't have carrier signal" but they put a QR code at the entrance for you to scan and download the menu... Isn't it hypocrisy?
Nobody wears a mask, they don't enforce any precaution measure, there's no social distancing, and they don't care.
If you can avoid this place until the government forces everyone to be vaccinated, I suggest you to do so.
If you couldn't care less about your health or your fellow citizens health, then feel free to drop by.
Great atmosphere, and the location is great. Lack of other alternatives made the service (self-service) quite bad. Crew walking around, yet seemingly doing nothing at all but talk to one another. Tables not cleaned on time. I mean they could at least take some orders instead. The food was good, nice portions, but it is more of a fast food restaurant quality. The meatball is quite salty, and it comes with two slices of bread instead of a bun. I loved the fries. I don't think any of the things we ordered are made fresh (except the salad side dish), but it was ok.

Really nice atmosphere, awesome for the kids. Tasteful food. It was just a little too crowded, but maybe we weren't so lucky by going on a sunny springbreak Sunday.
The location is very nice, a good stop to enjoy a beer and a sandwich when cycling. Middle of nowhere for NL.

Nice resturant in the national park Meyendel. Wery nice garden with many trees and a lot of space, food in the form of a self-service buffet, I prefer this form. I really like apple pie and coffee. This is a good start on hiking trails. If you go with public transport, there is a bus from Den Hague to Wassenaar, De Kieviet and about 30 minutes nice walk to this restaurant. National park around is amazing!
