4th of Feb was national day of Cepelinai, some other restaurants invited elderly people to have some cepelinai as a meal, restaurants treat, for free. This place posted a picture (which was already removed) on their FB page, saying they joined this good deed by treating elderly people at no cost as well, however, there was no such thing at their place, random picture with grannies is from season when it was warm - currently we have below 0's celsius temps, deep winter, no greenary nor leafs on the trees, look at grannies shoes. Their post removal from FB page proves how low this business can go and where their values stand at. Atmosphere: 1

We visited during Christmas holidays especially to taste the local « kibinai » (dough filled with eg chicken/mushroom or pork or lamb). Kibinai were good, service was fluent and view on the castle and lake very attractive as decor. Seems to be even more attractive to visit in summer time while also enjoying lake activities or visit to the castle. For some reason online order did not go through, even though it was auto confirmed and paid for. Bonus points for preparing the food extra fast AFTER the inquiry, although an apology for one hour wait time would have been helpful too. Pizzas were cheesy, but the taste was not special in any way. Just a simple pizza with a chance of not getting your order done. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Visited Trakai on sunny September day. Was very hungry and decided to order at the bar where I was directed to take seat and wait for waitress to come. I waited for 10minutes, but no sight of waitress or menu. Decided to leave for abetter managed place. The place was not busy and only 20-30% of seats were taken, however, no waitress present in dinning room. Promising place, but service was non-existent. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Service: 1

Cool place and nice service and waitresses. Beautiful view on the castle and on the river. Pasta was great, I think that there were mushrooms in aswell which were absolutely delicious. Only kind of funny thing was that the eating place did not have spotify premium and the ads were playing once in a while between songs :D . Loved stopping by here to have a glass of red wine to enjoy with my view of the castle after my tour. Would recommend to anyone that stops by to enjoy this breathtaking place. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €5–10

Lovely view, great ambiance and tranquility. Seems like you always can have a table on terrace with spectacular view of Traku castle. Prices are very moderated, well aligned with touristic places. Definitely, highly recommended place to stop by for a coffee or quick bite.

Perfect spot to sit and eat, beautiful views, in my opinion better in the Winter, so much going on. Great place to refuel before or after a nice walk. Pizza was great, Tea and Coffee good quality, 4 star as the soup I ordered never showed up but appeard on the bill, waitress wasn't really bothered either....

View from most of the restaurant is amazing. The service seemed quite lazy though and my food arrived undercooked. Not too happy as a restaurant but it would be a nice place to sip some coffee or another beverage.
