The food was very bland, no flavor what so ever. I've had store bought canned versions of menudo and refried beans that are better than what we were served. REVISED: 3/3/2024: We haven't been to Brandon for a few months. The last time we were there, the food was terrible. All dry, no flavor. Yesterday, we decided to give Brandon another try. Our server's name was Carla. She was polite, courteous and very friendly. I ordered their chicken sandwich w/loaded potatoe soup. Honey ate their steak sandwich. Both were cooked to your liking. Food was very fresh and very tasty too. Next time, I probably will try their spaghetti meal. I would recommend this place. Staffing looks like it changed too. Not sure, but manager or owner was there. I am going to return to Brandon again in a few weeks. P.S. is the fried chicken back to being big pieces? We had a server named Kathy at Brandon's. It was our first time at this specific location. This is our new location. She was the best server I've had in years anywhere and I recommend that anyone and everyone should definitely go there and ask to be served by Kathy. Went on Saturday with my mom and we split the Popeye omelet and turkey club. Both were delicious. Our server was Kathy and she was amazing. She was friendly and got our food to our table efficiently.
