The Bridge Bar in Valletta is a unique and charming venue with a beautiful setting. On Friday nights, the bar hosts jazz performances that draw in large crowds of locals and tourists alike. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with cushions provided for seating on the steps leading down to the bridge. The drinks are reasonably priced, and there is a selection of food available. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the owner is very welcoming. The only downside is the single shared toilet, which can be a bit unhygienic. Overall, The Bridge Bar is a great place to spend an evening and experience a truly special atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Nice location with modest prices (Aperol Spritz for 5,50€) and good service. They also offer some snacks but we did not have any so I can't comment in those. In the Summer they also have live music. Price per person €5–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Beautiful place, especially if you are lucky enough to find a space on the bridge, the view is really beautiful! Haven't been there for a jazz session so no idea regarding this aspect. Contrary to most bars in Malta, they might bring you some chips to enjoy with your drink, free of charge. The only downside I can think of and hence the 4 stars is that there isn't a menu, and you have to ask the waiter to recite you the available options. Fantastic jazz bar in Valletta with tremendous jazz music and a brilliant vibe. Prices for food and drink very reasonable. Just sad I won't be able to visit every week. Highly recommended Price per person €5–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cheese Platter

A fixture of the music scene in Valletta, the Bridge Bar is literally that: a pedestrian foot bridge at the intersection of the Victoria gate, where jazz musicians play familiar standards on Friday evenings, to an outdoor audience of select tables and a tumble-down crowd of listeners seated on cushions on the ancient stone steps. Always packed, you will not get a table unless booking in advance. Food and drink not noted for its quality but the live vibe and jazz atmosphere is all the experience. Worth a visit when in Valletta if you enjoy jazz. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Great atmosphere on a warm night. Came on a Saturday for just a couple of drinks so missed jazz night on Friday. Was at about half capacity. Only disappointment was the toilet seat on the one toilet was missing, so you have to hover. 🙃 Price per person €5–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very disappointed in this place. Had researched this venue as I like jazz & sounded perfect. Bar opens at 7pm & live jazz alegadely starts at 8pm. Arrived early to ensure a seat which I got however was sitting away outside at the back & sat waiting for jazz to begin until just before 9 & decided enough was enough.

You won't get many places with atmosphere like this. Friday night is Jazz night so book in advance if you want a seat or a table. Music great - you won't be disappointed. Queue for drinks a shame (could easily be sorted with some thought) and an additional loo would be handy, but you don't come here for modern convenience - it's all about character! Price per person €15–20
