The place is really cool, the kind of place you can meet up after work, or see some family. Ita a nice in-between from relaxed/pub and a fancy place. The fries and onion rings left something to be desired. But the main dishes were great. Also, the bread pudding is the best ive ever had, period. I have been going to Brozeit Lokal for years. They have good food, very friendly staff and a lovely ambiance. I recently tried their fish and chips though and I was astounded by how amazing it was. The fish was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and moist on the inside, like a funnel cake in fish form. I liked it so much that I took my husband there a couple of days later to try it, though this time we subbed the späetzle for the fires, which I HIGHLY recommend!! Five stars for sure. The Brotzeit Lokal Restaurant sure was a sight for sore eyes! I was out on the water all day with Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman, looking for things that used to be. We launched Peabody's submersible, from the Pilot House in and around the bay islands looking for clues to things he and his boy could explore later with his Wayback machine. He settled on the sunken steamer SS Horcassious that went down in 1886 when she struck the Brothers outcropping. What a sight, but not as great a sight as the food that came from the kitchen of Brotzeit Lakal, all I can say is WOW! ☆☆☆☆☆
