Permanently closed ========== Wonderful addition to Kingston's historic waterfront district. Small but airy place that features fantastic wines by the glass or bottle. Surprisingly good beer selection too so, it makes for a great date spot! Owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. Food it limited to small bites at the time of this review (and I didn't have any). Great place to start your night downtown before heading to dinner!

Brunette satisfies all of my aesthetics…atmosphere, food, drink, people. Always a new wine or dish to try with a warm, knowledgeable staff ready to help navigate the amazing menu without pretension. Soothing to the senses, this is a sweet little oasis…one of my self-care musts (I’ve learned quite a bit about wine too)!

My perfect spot. 🍷🌭🪞 Beautiful space, cozy atmosphere, thoughtful wine selection, yummy coffee, and playful bites. Run by cool people who bring in cool people as customers and collaborators. Came in the winter for an upstate weekend with friends and Brunette was first on the list. Does not disappoint. Can’t wait to come back in the summer! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A nice little wine bar. On the small side with maybe five tables. Eight could sit or stand at the bar. Menu was not broad and was a little too eclectic for my taste. Place was nicely decorated with period photos only of women. Salads looked great. Staff was friendly and shared good local information. Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Where to begin! Brunette is the most delightful oasis. Amazing and thoughtful wine selections. Delicious food options. The best atmosphere in Kingston? Indeed. And don’t get me started on the service: Jessie and Katie behind the bar are magic! I love Brunette—run don’t walk!!!!!

This wine bar has been on my list, for quite some time. The ambiance is modern and chic; strategically decorated, with pleasing colors. When it came to the service, I felt that the staff was not as welcoming, as I would have expected. All interactions were stiff exchanges. As far as food, I had the Ceaser salad, which was delicious.
