My best friend- sister was in town overnight from Atlanta and we met up for dinner at Budakkan…. Everything was 💯‼️ Atmosphere, Food, and Service…our server Luca was so nice and made our night with great service and friendly … This has been my first time back to Buddakan since Covid and it was just like coming home to fine dining…!! My sister loved everything and the vibe was perfect and we definitely will be back again on regular …. Thank you for still being the best 😍….. Oh the best dishes we had Calamari Salad, Lobster Egg Rolls. i come here any chance i get and this place out does it every time. food is always spot on and the drinks are great too. Awesome place for groups or even just date night. Excellent. We came at 5 so there was a bit of a traffic jam getting in, but the service food and drink was amazing. Waitress was very knowledgeable and gave great advice and suggestions. The quality of food was amazing, especially with the price. I loved the lobster fried rice, tuna tartar, lo mein. I also enjoyed the drinks, like Enlightenment, Honor and Spirit. I hope to be back! My friends and I come here every year for the lunar new year menu. Great atmosphere and service every time. Our server was extremely attentive yesterday evening and checked in after each course. Our table of five got the tasting menu and were sufficiently stuffed by the end. Favorites were the fried fish and Yee sang. It’s unexpectedly difficult to find somewhere in Philly that offers the salad toss for the spring festival but buddakan has come through for us consistently in the last three years. Hopefully next year we can check out the brunch and performances then! 🤤🤤 just yes!! I went for restaurant week to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of my first date with my husband 😍 (our first date was at Buddakan!). And the food was even better than I remembered. I got the shrimp bao buns for the appetizer and the first bite had me in food heaven! The flavors and textures pied so perfectly. The tuna tartare spring rolls were light and flavorful! I got the Chilean sea bass and was a bit disappointed by the lack of flavor. But my husbands steak dish was great! Both the chocolate cake and doughnut desserts were yummy as well!
