We were near the Arc de Triomphe and were looking for somewhere for lunch. Took a gamble on this cafe thinking it would be a bit of a tourist trap. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing, and they were very gracious with us non French speaking tourists. The food was good and reasonably priced. Got allergies from the seafood, and the waiter tried to charge me for bottled water when I asked for tap. Not an honest restaurant. Also food was terrible. I got the salmon avocado and it smelled like fish. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

We ordered one salmon pasta dish which was fine, but not particularly delicious, and one roast chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken was very dry as though it had been sitting in the oven for many hours. The mashed potatoes were nice as was the glass of wine and beer. There appeared to be only two waitresses for a very busy evening and we waited a long time for our plates to be cleared (one waitress could be seen outside smoking at the time). There appeared to be a few groups of local people, so perhaps we just visited on an off night. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

What can I say. We stopped in on a whim as we were walking around Monmarte and it was a really great decision. The waiter was so funny and also very helpful. The food was magnifique and the atmosphere could not have been better. Watching the sun peek out and illuminate various spots was a magical way to spend the late afternoon. A really memorable venue. It was quick stop for coffee and chocolate croissant, but very pleasurable one! The stuff is very friendly with lovely manners. Sad I couldn't stay longer to eat lunch as well. Next time.. Price per person €1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
