My husband and I had a wonderful dinner and service. Gregory, our server, is such a great young man. He was friendly and so knowledgeable about the menu. Other staff were just as friendly and professional. It was warm and comforting dining in this family run restaurant. The food was delicious. Never felt rushed. Definitely will visit many more times. Caffe Piazza is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area. It's authentic and has unique dishes that you cannot find anywhere else. Most of the items are homemade in house from the sausage, to the pasta, gnocchi and much more. The owner is friendly and you can tell he loves to see customers enjoy his dishes. Perfect date night place! Their complimentary bread was fresh and yummy! The staff is very welcome, quick service, and lovely music in the background. The gnocchi was well seasoned and perfectly baked. We got the delicious zucchini which was great too! The tiramisu was the winner. Best ever we had. One of our friends was a long time bud of Tony, the owner, and his son who served us. It is BYOB, which I am starting to like better than the high cost of ordering wine. We started with Tagliere (antipasta) and the fried calamari, both exceptional. The calimari aromatico was the single best calamari dish I ever had. I heard zero complaints from those having Calamari-Cozze Livornese, the short ribs or pasta dishes. A wonderfully prepared, perfectly served, fine dining experience, with great friends. We worked with Antonio to cater a birthday party and we couldn’t have been happier! All night, guests were saying how good the food was and asking where we’d gotten it. Antonio was super helpful in guiding our menu selection; he was so flexible in accommodating various dietary needs; and he and his team handled set-up efficiently and beautifully. We had a party today for about 25 people at Caffe Piazza and Antonio and the staff went above and beyond to give us an exceptional experience. Antonio was available to chat on the phone and via email to help plan the menu and all the party details. The food was delicious and everyone raved to us about all the different appetizers and the main courses. We really felt like Antonio wanted to give us the best experience possible as if it was a party for his own family. Hey! We visited Cafe Piazza for the first time since we moved to Montgomery. Going by reviews on Google we were excited to eat here. Though the food and ambience was nice but the service was disappointing and unpleasant. Despite clearly telling the person taking our order to suggest a dish with a small portion size, we were served full portion. We love Caffe Piazza! Antonio is the owner and a great chef who makes you feel at home at his establishment. The food is fantastic and the entire staff helps provide a wonderful dining experience.
