This restaurant and Norwalk Museum can be both really attractive for tourists. Nicely cooked breakfast sandwiches, eggs benedict and cobb salads can be what you need. Cooks at Caffe Social do their best to provide visitors with good blueberry pancakes, strawberry waffles and French toasts. Mimosas lovers will find it delicious. Drink the great honey latte, ice tea or moccachino offered here. The warm atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a good time. Many people underline that the staff is well-trained at this spot. Fast service is something clients appreciate here. You will like adequate prices. The homey decor is a big plus. This restaurant has got Google 4.5 according to the guests' opinions.

Surprisingly, packed! Astonished to see how busy this place was but now I get it. Unique menu with a bunch of hashtags. I ended up ordering something I’ve never seen under the burger section but happy I did. The social burger was flavorful, juicy, and filling. Lots of different spices in the meat and it was little spicy with the sauce. The garlic fries were cooked perfectly and so tasty! Definitely worth checking out in the area but make sure to come early or be ready to wait! Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Social

I've paid less for better food. The atmosphere was cold and loud. The food came out fast, but was something I could have made at home. We ordered a waffle and a BasicBatch. The first side of toast was moldy, which was replaced quickly. The waitress insinuated my meal would be comped, but it wasn't. I paid without complaining, but will never go back. Let's replace pretentiousness with simple, quality, food. Pleasant service is also always appreciated. Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
My friends and I went to breakfast for Valentine's Day and the waitress was rude with a bad face, when they gave us the bill it was and when she collected it it was another $ and she said it included the tip, we have no problem tipping we would even give more than 20% but it is wrong to give one account and after collecting another, we felt very discriminated against, we sat at a table and they asked us to move because it was for 5 people or 6 and we were only 4, and then up to 3 people sat down, It took them a while to serve us, the food was very delicious, nice atmosphere, but today's waitress was rude and sent another girl to serve us, who was kind. I recently revisited Cafe Social with my family for brunch, and once again, the cozy spot in Norwalk did not disappoint with its delightful menu. Our brunch experience was overall enjoyable, featuring delicious food and perfectly crafted drinks. However, a minor hiccup occurred when I ordered a Tuscano Panini with a side of potato salad, which didn't quite hit the mark. Politely requesting to substitute the Potato salad with french fries, I was surprised to find a $7 charge for the fries on the bill. When I questioned the server, she explained that while the potato salad wasn't charged, the fries were added later and thus incurred an extra cost. From a customer service standpoint, clear communication about additional charges would have been appreciated. Despite the server offering a half-price adjustment, it left a slightly bitter taste. While the incident didn't break the bank, it highlighted a lapse in communication and billing transparency. In the end, Cafe Social earns four stars from me, mainly due to the scrumptious food and cozy atmosphere. My hope is that they take this as an opportunity to refine their approach, ensuring customers are informed about any additional costs in a more upfront manner. I still highly recommend the place, and I believe this minor issue can be a learning experience for the establishment. Not impressed with the quality of the food or the atmosphere. Our waitress Sabrina was rushing us to place the order and we were asked to order anything else because the kitchen was closing at 3:00PM, but they were still taking walk-in’s and food orders at 3:30PM. I guess they serve and open the kitchen to certain people. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Food is good. We’ve brought out-of-towners here for the waffles and pancakes, they’re delicious and have a great presentation. Pricy, but delicious. Having said this, restaurant is small and there is typically a wait. There’s a great corner booth/table that’s almost always empty unless the manager (or owner?) is working there with her papers spread out all over the table. We once had a party of four, restaurant full, and they wouldn’t allow us to sit in the corner booth/table - apparently it’s saved for five or more. We were disappointed, waited for a regular table, and later the booth was filled ….with a party of four. It’s silliness. The table is always open and it’s the best seat in the house. The main reason for the three stars is the manager (or owner?). She’s almost always there and I’ve never seen her do much of anything, including crack a smile. We’ve been over a dozen times and feel like we’re in her way or that she’s annoyed we’re there. There are several waitstaff who are delightful though. There’s a blonde waitress that is often there and she, in particular, works hard and makes us feel welcome. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30
Currently at this restaurant and felt the need to put my half decent sandwich down to write this review. I was seated promptly at a corner booth. We ordered our beverages and then our food. The atmosphere is chaotic and loud, so if you’re looking for a relaxing brunch where you can hear yourself thinking as well as have a conversation with your party, this place isn’t it. We were drinking our hot beverages and were asked if we could please move to another table because a party of 6 was waiting. I felt this was rude to say the least and the fact that the waitress was asking/slightly begging made it feel all more uncomfortable. We eventually move right next to our previous table. The party of 6 sat next to us and literally said we have the best seat here, nice and spacious. The whole situation was weird and unnecessary. I’ve never been to a restaurant where when you’re drinking and relaxing you’re told to move cause a larger party is waiting. If you’re searching for a place where you want to play musical chairs and carry your food with you, this is the place for you. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
