British food is nice here. Come here and try nicely cooked fish & fries, fried fish and sweet fries. You can have tasty fruitcake at this restaurant. A lot of visitors order delicious draft beer, ale or irish beer. You will be offered great tea, coffee or juice. There is a great view from Camelot Fish & Chips. Most guests point out that the staff is cool. This place is remarkable for its nice service. Prices are found fair here. You will certainly like the peaceful atmosphere and modern decor. UPDATE: just went again and it was equally good the second time. Top notch! This is the only review you ever need to read about this place. I'm from Grimsby, England. My town has contributed almost nothing to the planet. It's famous for almost nothing, and we're so desperate to latch onto fame that we claim John Hurt (nominated for an Oscar for The Elephant Man, and was the first dude in Alien to have an alien burst out of his body) as our own, because he went to college in the town for two years. I say 'almost' nothing, because the one thing we are famous for is fish. My town has provided fish to the UK for at least a couple of hundred years, so when it comes to fish and chips, at least the authentic kind, you can trust our opinion. I've been in the US for a little over 7 years and Camelot is - by a country mile - the best fish & chips I've ever had here. Not only is it the best fish and chips I've had in the US, it's better than most fish & chips that I've had in the UK outside of Grimsby itself. I thoroughly recommend it, both to Brits abroad who are looking for a taste of home, and to Americans who would like to know what actual fish and chips taste like. Whoever owns and runs this place, I salute you and you have my undying gratitude. I made the journey from a Chicago for this, and it was totally worth it. I'm going to move to California, and when I do, you'll see me regularly.
