Marco Cappelli is a fantastic wine maker. His wines are not only affordable and delicious, the bottling is sustainable. The tasting room is perfect for a wine flight experience and meeting the friendly owners.

Cappella wine
Nice pleased to relax and have a nice glass of wine from the region around Placerville, the Gold country . at the foot of the sierra, Nevada he’s not well-known like the Napa valley or Sonoma.. but it worth a trip to taste some thing different. And experiencing the history of the town of Placerville and surrounding area.

This is a beautiful lil gem!! Not only are the wines phenomenal, fantastically priced for the high quality you get, but the atmosphere has an amazing vibe with the wonderful energy of Stacie and Marco. Do yourself a huge favor and come and try it for yourself. The wines have a mouth feel to me of those I had in Italy. Stacie informed me it is because they are unrefined and unfiltered. They are ohhhh so good! And what an amazing mission statement they have 🙌🏻

Last night 3 of my bestie's & I headed down to Cappelli Wines on Main St in Placerville for a tasting flight. We were warmly greeted by Tracy who did a wonderful job of describing the concept behind Cappelli Wines. Marco Cappelli makes vineyard-specific varietal wines that are intended to be drunk young. He's able to offer these at a very affordable price. He follows the Italian model of bringing your own bottles to fill up @ the wine shop with your preferred wine. They can also sell you a bottle of your choice that you can re-fill over & over. The tasting flight consists of 6 different wines. All of the wines were well crafted & characteristic of the grape varietal they represent. At this time, they are offering tasting flights for the incredible bargain of $5.00 per person. The tasting room asthetic is like stepping into a piece of Italy. You can also join Cappelli's Wine Club for $40.00 a month which includes 4 bottles of wine & a handsome carrying case that you continue to re-use. Marco is a great winemaker offering all of us good wines at an affordable price! Thank you Marco & Belinda for coming to Main St, Placerville

Magical! It's like a dream, really. Where can you get insanely phenomenal wine, on tap, in refillable wine bottles, at very, VERY affordable prices?!!! And to make the dream even better, the owners and staff are welcoming, professional, fun, and extraordinarily knowledgeable! A dream come true in little Placerville, California.
