Amazing view and atmosphere, healthy but not very tasty food, fantastic service with polite and friendly staff. Don’t forget to order cappuccino. Highly recommended
Pro: beautiful view and good food.
Con: annoying staff who asked me "is everything OK?" for more than 10 times in less than one hour. Nothing changed in the past 2 minutes, please leave my introvert soul to eat and enjoy in peace.

We were underwhelmed with the Malibu Beach Inn. It was VERY expensive, and that's okay, but we didn't feel like we got what we paid for.
The service was slow, yet the place was not busy. We had a reservation for two, and upon arrival we briefly discussed where we could sit with the hostess. We wanted to be outside near the water and asked about whether they had heaters they would bring out. She said they did not have heaters, so we elected to sit inside -- it was just the two of us in a room with several empty tables, until they sat a relatively loud party of 7 right next to us.
The bill took a while to come out, so we strolled outside where, to our surprise, we saw the heaters we inquired about earlier. At that point we were presented with the bill which already had an 18% gratuity added to it, which seemed inappropriate, but maybe that is just how they do things?
