This Caribou Coffee is GORGEOUS!!!! It’s an old train station converted into a two story coffee shop. Not only is there a lot of space to sit and hang out, study, or work (there’s a reservable conference room), there is beautiful artwork and historical details hidden all over. Love Caribou. Vastly superior to its competitors. I ordered a oat milk hot chocolate, and it was heavenly. Not too sweet and little chocolate chips on the whipped cream. The perfect compliment to the Parade of Lights for Christmas. Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really cool caribou. Usually not a fan of caribou coffee but evert year I go to this one on my way back from Winona in the fall after looking at the fall colors on the river road. I have to stop at this location to get a warm drink then head up on the bluffs to get one more awesome view before heading home. Service Take out Meal type Other Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I stop in this caribou almost daily on my way south. This location has gone through many managers and staff over the years, resulting in inconsistent service. For the last few years, they've finally had a consistent manager and it's showed. Drinks have tasted great, wait times have gone down substantially, and the employees seem to be genuinely happy. Stopping by today I was told by an employee that the gm quit! I'm not sure who in charge of the southern metro stores, but this turnover is insane. From Red Wing to Winona, the southern stores are mismanaged and can't keep Staff. The district manager/ regional manager/ what have you for these stores needs to be let go. Most caribous I go to don't have these issues, so I assume it's coming from the top down in the south metro. After a few years of this store FINALLY having some direction, I'm saddened that the employees are once again left to fend for themselves. If the ex GM is reading this, please let me know of you're still in the industry! I'll gladly frequent any establishment you manage, based on the atmosphere you brought alone. Until then, at least the red wing Starbucks will be up soon.

This location was my home away from home on my trip to Red Wing last week. I was here first thing in the morning and often back again late in the afternoons. Really love the ambience of this place but mostly, some of the nicest and friendliest employees I've ever encountered at a coffee place. I'm home now and already kinda miss it. I have always found this to be the loveliest of all Caribou Coffees because of the stunning, historic building. Over the years, I've met many friends here and hosted multiple business meetings. The raspberry white chocolate chip scones are my favorite treat. It's nice during warmer days that they provide some outdoor seating.

Such a cool Caribou location! It's a completely brick building with two stories! The upper floor has a small library area you can grab a book and sit down and read. This location is by far the LARGEST one I've ever seen and beautiful!! Actually in the origami building in Red Wing MN of train station/depot. Great drinks of all kinds and very good staff.. customer service to a T.
