Good seafood place, solid service and great ambiance. Javier was a good server. Their seafood chowder is delicious and their pan seared sea bass melts in your mouth. House margaritas was ok. Came here for valentine day dinner Was very surprised this place is packed! We always loved catch35 and been here many time especially during covid, can honestly say its one of few restaurants that actually followed all covid restriction But anyway, we were probably the only table with kids LOL Consider it was a full house, we only had to wait for a few min to be seated, waitress was quick to serve and was friendly. The food came very quick consider again, it’s a full house…the food actually came before our drinks so I assume either the bartender was slow or many ppl were drinking jkjk lol The kids ordered fish and chip & chicken strips, the fish was very good only second to the food truck when we went to Iceland four yrs ago! We had the ribeye + the side order of Maine lobster, she had the Maine lobster, both lobster were very fresh even they were grilled The strawberry lemonade was great! I had the mango ice tea should of gotten the lemonade too lol We finished up with the homemade double chocolate brownie sundae, I was told it very good LOL Overall, it’s a perfect FIVE stars again, thank you! Maybe it is me, but seafood pasta should be done with linguine. This dish looks vague. Maybe I am wrong. Did not like it. The sous was not creamy very watery. Lobster tail very poor looking dish. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This is one of the nicer restaurants in downtown Naperville and definitely a great choice for seafood. The shrimp bisque, mixed grill (salmon, shrimp, lobster tail), and surf & turf (petit filet, crabcake) are excellent. Key lime pie and chocolate lava cake are wonderful desserts, service is very attentive and the atmosphere is perfect for date night. I highly recommend Catch 35, especially during Restaurant Week in mid-late January for their 3 course pre fixe menu. I came here twice and food both times were excellent. Parking you can find nearby in a lot (gets filled up fast) or the two garages. Last time we were there, our server was very alert and observant. He made sure our drinks were refilled and checked on our food to make sure it was up to par. Prices are typical for a steak and seafood restaurant. Portion sizes were sufficient and not tiny. -coconut Florida shrimp with sweet chili garlic sauce 5/5 - pieces of shrimp were good size, crispy, and juicy. -mixed grill (salmon, shrimp, ½ lobster tail 5/5 - i love how they use big pieces of shrimp. Lobster was cooked perfectly, did not taste rubbery. Salmon was flaky and easy to cut. Everything tasted above par. Table of ten early Friday evening to beat the rush. The highlight of the evening was the appetizers. Excellent flavor and preparation was flawless. Main course was cooked well but had zero flavor. Drinks were great but hard to get, waitresses seemed to always be in a hurry to be elsewhere. Overall the ambience was great and the place was very clean. Parking was convenient but filled up quickly due to location. 8 of ten of us were all in agreement with the review. We would try again but were let down on this visit. Went for new years eve dinner, its a nice trendy place on a corner. We had reservations and we waited about 10 mins which wasn’t bad. The service was ok, nothing terrible to complain about but our server would disappear for a while. The food was ok, the calamari was over cooked. My shrimp was good but the risotto was loose and runny it lacked flavor. Scallops were cooked good but again lacking flavor. My wife and friends dishes the fish was over cooked and braised short rib haha Zero flavor. They ran out of crème brûlée so we didn’t get to try desert. We reserved a table tonight to take my folks out for mom's birthday. We had been here before but it has been a few years. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant yet not stuffy. Our waitress was very polite, attentive, and engaging. We tried the spicy octopus appetizer, and it was very good. My wife and I split the wedge salad, and even after splitting, it was a healthy portion. I had the scallops and braised short rib hash-it was excellent! My wife and mom both enjoyed the scallop and shrimp risotto. My father ordered the scallop and shrimp stir fry. Everyone enjoyed their meal! They allowed my mother to pick a dessert from the menu for her birthday, and we all shared bites of the white chocolate cheesecake with strawberry sauce. We had a very nice meal with drinks and would definitely recommend trying this place. Is perfect for a date night or special occasions. The food was good, but it wasn't good enough to justify the $100-per-seat bill. The blackened swordfish was excellent, although small. The shrimp risotto had well-made shrimp, but the risotto was very oily. It was under a pool of oil. The seared tuna wasn't seared - the edges were almost as raw as the center, and its sauce was so overwhelming that you didn't taste any fish. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

The atmosphere of Catch 35 was open and inviting, the wine rack near the host booth was intriguing and stylish. Even when the restaurant was busy and bustling, the volume stayed low and we were not bothered by others having conversation. I ordered the lobster and the meat was like seafood popcorn! Fluffy and fresh with the perfect amount of pop. My friend ordered their signature dish, sea bass, and was not disappointed. The sauce on the sea bass was a perfect balance of zesty ginger and sweet glaze. The sea bass was so fresh, it melted in your mouth. Her husband ordered the salmon and was satisfied but not impressed, blackened was light and the fish was not overly moist. The fish tacos had great seasoning on the fish itself, and the ingredients used for relish were very fresh. Craig was a wonderful and patient server and really made my first time here a pleasant one.
