I’m not a catfish fan but decided to eat here after a friend suggested it. A simple and efficient restaurant with decent food actually. Lots of staff. Young hardworking and friendly kids working there. We were loaded up with hush puppies, pickled tomatoes, pickles and coleslaw…multiple times. Checked on multiple times by multiple people. It was refreshing. I ordered the grilled chicken which was really good. Others orders who trout and snow crab. All was good. Came with baked potatoes and green beans( not so good). But not awful. The restaurant is clean. It was busy on a Saturday at 4 pm. Nice, clean and efficiently run place. I would return again. If you leave hungry......something is wrong! The service & staff are amazing! The catfish is hot & fresh, & the free sides are tasty! It's definitely a place you'd want to visit many times! Plus! All I can say is. I was in the area for this week for classes for emergency management. And I just Google this location and showed up. The staff was very friendly and I felt super welcomed. I didn't feel like a typical customer, like you would in most restaurants. The lady who was the greeter/hostess was very sweet and made me feel like I was family. My server was on point with all aspects of what I restaurant should be, which is very hard to find these days. The food was full of flavor and was the best catfish meal setup I've had in a very long time. I travel around 150 days a year around the US for classes. This is most definitely one of the best places I ever visited for catfish dinner. Whoever are the people in charge of this location are doing a wonderful job on showing the public how restaurants should be toward their customers. I’ve been enjoying Catfish Hole since it was in a tiny dive up North of Alma on Hwy 71. I’m so sad they have closed the Alma location indefinitely due to staff shortages, so we made the journey up the hill to eat it at their Fayetteville location. It was my first time there. The Razorback decor was a nice tribute to our local team. The wait staff was friendly and VERY prompt - constantly refilling drinks and tending to our needs. The food was as amazing as always. It was quite busy and so the sound was overpoweringly loud. I was happy to leave to get some peace and quiet, but I’ll go back again. I just pray they de-open the Alma location since it’s so much closer to my home. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The best hush puppies you’ll likely ever have. I’m of the opinion that it doesn’t even matter if you are a fan of hush puppies or not, the ones at Catfish Hole are so good that you’ll like them regardless. Staff even refill them for you. Although also known for catfish, I strongly recommend the fried shrimp - it is very good. This is one of the pricier restaurants in Fayetteville, be prepared to spend a bit more than you might elsewhere. But the food and the experience are worth it! Wonderful family owned restaurant that is a staple in the community. The catfish is on point and is since of the best you can have. Their fruit pies are exceptional. They are only not served on Friday and Saturday. Of course, they serve sweet tea and other southern traditional items. Finally, they provide hushpuppies like chips, all you can eat for free!!
