This has been the best bubble tea in the entire metro area - absolutely worth stopping in if you're anywhere even remotely near Independence. Extra 10 minute drive? Yes. Go.
Plenty of selection and all of the customizations but also MILK SUBSTITUTIONS for the dairy and lactose intolerant / vegan! Hurray! These are like handmade drinks rather than your run of the mill chain - I watched my barista caramelize my topping with a torch! She's was like an artisan with these teas, it was great! Lovely location with a small amount of seating. The Chaiyo Brown Sugar and the Taro were excellent. Highly recommend.

Yall have the other boba places!! This here is the go too. Great service amazing drinks with a price you cant pass up. I was not a boba fan until my today!!! My children had the milk tea and fresh milk and I had the mango tea. We most definitely will be coming back!!!

Chaiyo has amazing milk teas! The customer service is warm and inviting and the atmosphere is like being amongst family. I drive there from Lees Summit and my sister comes from Kansas City to enjoy their teas and service. They have permanent customers with us. Discovering Chaiyo Tea House was a delightful surprise on my quest for Boba tea. The place exudes cleanliness, space, and modern vibes. Adam, the owner, greeted us warmly, sharing his genuine passion for tea. Open for just three weeks, Chaiyo already stands out.
Adam's recommendations, Chaiyo Milk Tea, and White Peach Green Tea were spot-on. The milk tea blends black tea, creamy milk, and a subtle caramel note, torch-caramelized brown sugar, creating a delightful mix. The peach tea was a refreshing, sweet alternative.
Adam's personal touch extended to sharing the shop's backstory, making the visit more memorable. My friend and I wholeheartedly recommend Chaiyo for its quality and tasty teas. Keep an eye out for the evolving decor; it's a gem in the making. Cheers to Chaiyo Tea House!

Delicious boba shop!! Super excited to finally have one close to home that provides quality taste. Best one in the entire LS/Blue Springs/Indep area. So far we’ve tried the brown sugar milk tea and the matcha latte and loved each! We may have gone twice in one weekend since we enjoyed it so much.

Fantastic boba tea shop! The drinks are incredibly flavorful, which you also have the option to scale how sweet you want your drinks as well. They also don’t skimp on the boba pearls as well which is a plus for me cause I’ve been to places where they barely give you any. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing excellent service.
