Been coming to Charlie’s for a long time. Yes they closed down and it was disappointing but was glad to see them reopen. Go over and see Beth for great service and a few good laughs. Food is good and fresh every time. Yes it takes a few minutes to get it out but well worth it just get some appetizers and a drink till your food is ready. My husband and I haven’t been here in a while and checked it out on Valentines Day. Cheeseburgers were delicious! I ordered a buttermilk coconut slice of pie after. I wasn’t expecting it to be hot when it was served to me. It must’ve been put it in the microwave before it came to the table as it was way too hot for the mouth and no warning. 🔥 Recommend not zapping it in the microwave on a high setting before serving. Maybe just put microwave setting on defrost if pie was in fridge. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Hate blasting businesses, but have every right to: Ordered Potato Soup to go this evening, got home and all it is, is mashed potatoes with some very fine cut-up potatoes. Definitely isn’t potato soup. I’ve tried this place in the past several times and they just can’t get it together. The place always looks closed if you’re driving by, extremely bad lighting. Although the food has been good before, it also has been extremely disappointing as well. I just can’t keep spending my hard earned money on bad restaurants in this town ( the few we have). This is why the Fast Food industry is so prominent here in this town, their food is consistent! Bad, but consistently bad! You know exactly what you’re getting with them. I tried Charlies a few times years ago, they seemed like they never had it together or i just happen to come in on an off night. They closed down and reamped their business saying that they learned a lot of hard lessons, so they decided to open again. I gave them another shot after being tired of eating Thanksgiving leftovers we gave them one more shot. Nothing changed, burgers although asked for medium rare, meat came out like hockey Pucks, extra well done. The kid serving us was great, he was definitely a welcome change. Also the Charlie's combo is not what it used to be for almost $12 (see picture) you get this amazingly small combo. Before you had enough to share now, it's barley enough for a toddler to eat. Stick to the fries you get more. I wanted to like it really bad and support local business but I will have to say I am hanging it up. Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Impromptu pickup right before Thanksgiving festivities and was very pleasantly surprised. Quality was on point and the portions were HUGE. Even the “kids” hot dog was ginormous compared to competitors and much better quality. The fresh French fries were crisp, hot, flavorful as were the huge onion rings. Burgers were cooked to specification, with quality buns, and even the mushrooms were hot, fresh, and well portioned. Absolutely worth the money and will be back again in the future :) Food: 5

Let’s just say this was one of the best cheese burgers I’ve ever had. And the girl that served me ( kayden ) was so nice and the service was amazing. Fast. Sadly disappointed. Came to this establish years ago and wasn't a fan. They closed down for months and then about a month ago, made a big long post on Facebook admitting their wrong said they were learning to be better and are opening back up. I'm all about second chances, so came in to try them out again for lunch today. The TASTE of the burger was good BUT it was WELL done dried out patty (ordered medium) on a COLD bun. We order 2 burgers, one with fries, the other with onion rings... From when we ordered to when we got our food was 25 minutes... there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant at the time and they hadn't even ordered yet. They were way to slow, to be that slow... unfortunately we will not be back. One thing to note though, which is appreciated, they DO have GLUTEN FREE buns, which is rare to find. This place has gone downhill the past 6 months or so. We usually order pick up and have found a real difference in quality of our burgers in this time frame. They used to be high quality and taste great. Lately, they are dry and overcooked with burnt buns or forgotten sides. To remedy, we attempted eating inside today (2/25/23) instead of getting our usual takeout. The host that seated us was really kind and friendly. He seated us quickly and exactly where we wanted. The restaurant was essentially empty of customers, which makes the following even more upsetting and confusing. Our service after being seated was atrocious. Our server, a short blonde teenager, wasn’t very friendly. She never gave us a refill the entire hour we were here. She spoke rudely about what my son could and couldn’t order as a side. She came by our table maybe 2 times in the hour we were there. 30 minutes of our time was spent waiting for our food, and when it finally came, 90% was lukewarm. I thought we were waiting that long for fresh food. Nope. I haven’t left a 10% tip in years. I usually leave at least 25%. But today I left 10%. Our server was THAT bad. One extra star for the amazing host and the salmon and chicken strips were warmish and tasted good. But we will never, ever come back with how we were ignored and talked down to by our waitress. Came for dinner on Saturday, it was pretty quiet, only a handful of families eating in there. My husband ordered the egg-celent burger, well done patties with an over easy egg. I got the Charlie's wrap with garlic herb tortilla, crispy chicken & honey Dijon. Both meals were delicious, the burger comes with 2 flame grilled patties, very juicy & flavorful. My wrap was generously stuffed with chicken, cucumbers & greens. Clean bathrooms too. I'd love to try other items on their menu next time!
