This bar offers you nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Historic Downtown and Railroad District. Cooks at The Gopher Hole do their best to provide visitors with tasty fish tacos, fish and French onion soup. Based on the guests' opinions, martinis are delicious. Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The knowledgeable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at this place is something one can call professional. A lot of reviewers note that prices are average for what you receive. The calm atmosphere has been highlighed by the clients. This spot is ranked 4.1 within the Google grading system.

IMPECCABLE! It was an amazing experience for my family and I. Food was absolutely delicious. We got the BYOB (build your own burger) and it was spectacular! It has a buttered brioche bun along with cheese, fries, and toppings of your choosing. A bit of a wait but it was most definitely worth it. The steak frites were seasoned perfectly with garlic salt and herbs making them delightful! Our server was a young man, I believe his name was Luke, He was VERY polite, always checking in on us and understanding our concerns. There is a main restaurant and a pub. In the pub there is complimentary popcorn that you can refill and a pool table. Overall the best experience I could possibly have. Definitely recommended if you are around Downtown Flagstaff. Teresa and I shared the Fish and chips, French onion soup, and grilled corn. The French onion soup was one of the best I've had. The top bread was grilled crunchy before being added to the top of the soup and broiled either cheese. That gave it a crunchy chewy texture instead of mushy that comes with most French onion soups. Also loaded with onions. Delicious. The fish was flaky and meaty. The batter was slightly heavy but had a nice crunch to it. cole slaw was a bit over dressed but had a nice refreshing flavor that paired well with the fish. The grilled corn was sweet with a touch of spice. Sydney, our waitress was as sweet as could be and gave us the perfect amount of attention. Overall, a great dining experience. Charley's is found inside the Weatherford Hotel but has a nice outside dining area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Charly's Pub & Grill comprises- along with the Gopher Hole and Zane Grey Ballroom- FOUR bars and eateries in the historic Weatherford Hotel in downtown Flagstaff. The hotel is a good choice for single or double travelers who want to stay downtown. The food is surprisingly good at Charly's. The atmosphere varies from a sidewalk bistro to an english/irish pub to an old-western dining room. Family friendly. Whatever you do. Do not go on the restaurant side. The service is so bad we couldn't even get our food. Nadine did not care a bit about her job. Had no knowledge of the menu. I asked about the burger and she said "I don't know. I'm a vegetarian ". Also asked about the soup of the day. She had no knowledge. Ordered two soups. 20 minutes later we asked Another server if we were going to get the soup first as Ordered. She provided this. On another order a salad was supposed to be provided. When asked about it Nadine said "fine, I guess I'll bring a salad. At this point we talked to a manager, paid for drinks and left. Go to the bar area. I wanted so bad to give this cute little spot in downtown Flagstaff a 5, but I just can’t. The positives: the food was very good. We tried the Navajo taco which came highly recommended and was hearty, a lot of food and had great flavor. The crab dip appetizer & pozole were also not too bad. The negatives were they appeared to be short staffed so everything took a while. We were patient and understood, and our server was extremely friendly and doing very well considering she had a lot of tables to tend to with very little assistance. The huge negative was the music playing over head was old “roaring 20’s” which literally sounded like it was playing on a record player from the 20’s and loud. We laughed it off but did agree the wait for our drinks & food would have been easier if it hadn’t been for the overhead tunes. Haha Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Great place for breakfast or in my case brunch! Amazing Bloody Mary's!!! All 5 in my party tried something different off the breakfast menu and everyone was VERY pleased with their meal! Lastly staff and services was far above par, friendly and accommodating in every way. Chelsea was great, stop in and visit.

My husband and I stopped in on a Thursday evening and had a lovely time. We had the mac with bacon and the steak frites, and both were delicious! Service was fast and our waiter was great as well.
