Maybe 3 out of 20 restaurants deserve a rating above a 3. Most are just average and not above average or great. CHINA Is one of the exception. If you want atmosphere DO NOT BOTHER there is none. If you want anything but essential service DO NOT BOTHER. IF YOU WANT THE BEST CHINIES I HAVE HAD IN A YEAR GO THERE. There fried rice had vegetables in it. The chicken was full of high end vegetables and white meat chicken. There was zucchini, bamboo shoots, carrots, snow peas. ALL TOPPED WITH A NICE SAUCE. Not eye watering. This place gets worse every week. We had eaten there for two years weekly and loved it. Sometime in the past couple of months it seems they sold to new owners. Shrunk portions, no flavor,raw vegetables and tiny egg rolls. Then tonight the food was cold and tough and the rice was dry and lumpy. They said ready in 15-20 minutes and we picked it up in 15. Is this the best Chinese in the world? Not even close. But it just might be the best Chinese in Winston. Ive tried most of the places and this is the place I keep coming back to. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired and I feel like it might be a little awkward to eat in there. Just get take out like a normal person and enjoy some good Chinese at a good price. Great food; just very disappointed that it seems like you can only order lunch specials depending on who answers the phone. One week everything is available, and then the next if a certain lady is answering the phone she never seems to want to sell any lunch specials. I don't think I'll be returning because I'm tired of playing a guessing game if I can order food, but if you manage to get your order in the food is really good and generous portions for the price.
